You pour your heart in soul into these rigs. Then when you are done you have to trust the rig you built will get you to the top and keep you safe. There is a strong vehicle bond in this sport.

It’s amazing where the sports gone, I’m from NC and I remember the first buggy I sat in years ago at Tellico before it closed down. It was right after the krawlers came out, damn I’m getting old lol but it was just amazing to see up close and personal. Now here we are 42 sticky’s and portal turning axles… love it

Why is a rear weight bias preferred? I would think a front bias would be better so when you are going up something really steep, the front still has traction to help pull up the rear.
@WRECKEDGEAR2 жыл бұрын
That is a great question!! Its actually the best way to balance out a buggy. between the trans and transferase being where the driver sits in the front center of the chassis then having the motor being in the rear center of the chassis its the best best spot for balance. Having a front engine you have more weight closer to the axle. instead of inside the axle. That being said my rig is a front engine and does great. but when you get into comp buggy's little thing win comps so its better but not a must.

Want to build a 4 wheel steer rock crawler, where do I start?
@WRECKEDGEAR9 ай бұрын
Look around and find a Chassis that you like. (Bent Fab AZ, Kalif, Hulse, Rock lizard, Goat build, Bomber, Boen Built, and Iornman, Just to name a few that are Amazing! Start there by looking at how some of those builds look finished out and what power plants and axles they are running. they start deciding what package you want to put together.
