I have this on my PS4 and I never considered it would be made for the Switch. Wow! I will have to pick up a copy once it inevitably drops in price. This will be fun on the handheld.

@@redcrimson1028 I’d be happier with 30, I’m not knocking them for charging $40 it’s just a bit more than I want to spend on a game that I’ll mostly play in short sessions (seems like the perfect pick up and play title)

I think im going to pass on the switch version as I already own the ps5 version, but if the switch is your only option, this game is awesome

Havent checked all the comments here so someone may have addressed this already Alex but you can temper the acceleration, config 4 you can use your dual sticks as accel/brake , takes some getting used to but some may remember thats how we used to race years ago before all the controllers got better . Changed to this and felt very natural after a while , golded all the tournaments then played on ps5 to do the same thing and other than being much faster/and prettier , made me realise how well the handling still works in the Swtich version. So excited to get into this for a 4th time !!!

Nice to see they were able to port this mostly intact. It's a great game and really feels like the old FlatOut games. I have it already on the PC so, I probably won't bother with it but for those who haven't had the chance to check it out yet, it's a pretty good option for some fun arcade action.

So, there I was, watching some amazing footage of Wreckfest from SwitchCorner....or so I thought. What are the odds of getting an ad portraying the exact game that the channel is reviewing? Now I know why Alex didn't utter a single word for its entirety. With that said, I am more and more intrigued with every clip I see of this game. I am definitely going to try it out on Game Pass first and wait a little to see if the online multiplayer kicks off on the Switch. This is the perfect compliment to MudRunner and SnowRunner: slow chill driving through the mud and snow vs fast paced chaos on a lawnmower. I will most likely get this in the future though since it looks addicting and so much fun to have on-the-go. I knew racing was a contact sport!!!

To be fair I had this on release for PS4, visually I think this looks better than when it first came out on that.

I got my copy early over the weekend, been enjoying this port but I really hope the developers fix the nearest neighbour scaling in handheld mode, it looks overly pixelated because the game operates below 720p (dynamic res) and upscales back to 720p in a crude manner. Very few Switch games do this and it’s frustrating that Wreckfest is one of the games that does, because otherwise it’s a very impressive port

Didn't think the port was possible? The switch can run anything! It may not be a 1 to 1 ratio as the other consoles but the switch can pretty much run anything go figure.

I hope they patch up some of the handheld issues. Aside from that, this a damn good looking racing game. I think I'll add it to the Wishlist and wait for a deep sale.
