He had been playing on them since he was like 8 or 10.(He is my biggest inspiration and idol) If you are looking for a kit, i prefer you the export series of pearl. They sound really very good and are extremely affordable. If you wanna go for a bit cheaper, again you can go for decade maple! In fact, it is the biggest and the best sounding kit under $900. You get 7 pieces in it. And yes, i ain't a dealer of pearl drums! lol, i just like to tell more about them though i don't have a kit of my own. {Just for your info: i am 14}
