Wrecking the Cheapest Perf Plate Helmet Sold Online

With the recent Wolfrib Helmet eye injuries / incidents in Armored Combat, I decided to test the Cheapest Perforated Plate Helmet, sold online. The fact that this visored steel helmet has a perf plate might make the novice fighter think this offers eye protection while clearly our destruction test proves it does not. Nice looks, but total fail for safety. Especially do not use in Harnischfechten. Check out or test results!

The children test is the best. It shows perfect, that it not protect anyone from anyone!

I think it will have some tarnish by the next day from that water balloon. I'm actually surprised it didn't arrive pre-rusted.

I felt like the perforated plate adds a sense of security/protection. And especially younger kids or someone without proper experience might think taking a shots to the face is ok in this. Just because it's all metal etc. Thanks 😊

lol So glad I looked up some vids of this helm. I don't really care if it’s all that protective but more the look. And it looks so much worse then what the online pics show great vid y’all!

It's definitely not exactly the same as pictured lol. Not tooooo far off. But aside from that, the random sharp edges to cut yourself on. You'd think they would inspect them first. Thanks!!

@@BachataKnight I guess that’s what happens when it’s one of the cheapest you can get. Say, would you have any suggestions where to shop for this stuff. Agin I’m not quite at the point where my trying to use it for protection, but just for the looks.

@@strandy4256 best blacksmith I ever saw make decorative armor is Aleksey Perebeynos. You can probably find his work online. With the War over there though, I'm not sure what his status is. As far as a more corporate looking website, Armstreet. I hear it's pretty great quality but definitely more for looks than to get beat up in lol. But really nice stuff. Probably also more care needed to keep that stuff detailed and shiny.

@@BachataKnight i appreciate the help! I was able to find the guys and at least his Instagram is pretty inactive right now. Last post was him making bullet proof plates for the conflict. Really sucks to see how this stuff affects people. And i also check out the ArmsWays. Really cool stuff for sure lol but definitely a bit out of my price range at the moment. Someday. I’ll be going the broke rout for a while 🥲 but it will still be fun. Got a shield coming in and I’m really hoping it close to as good as the pic shows, we shall see.

@@strandy4256 yeah, crazy times :( I wish I had a better list of cosplay and decorative helmet makers. Age Of Craft I hear can be decent quality and actually for taking a beating lol, if you ever wanted to at least get some type of functionality from a helmet. Everything just seems more expensive than I remember last time I got one. On Etsy there are a few sellers I want to do a damage test on their products and personal review. Hopefully in due time on this channel I'll cover some more mid range priced helmets
