Should put bolt in hole first with mount hanging lose and do the rear bolt up pulling mount up into place

Since you bought the Megane i click to see the struggle 🤣 How do you still find the motivation to do this jobs i dont know. I also fitted a Powerflex gearbox/engine mount on my car and now it vibrates in reverse 🙈 so i cant imagine how yours will be with to solid mounts.

think you have the mount the wrong way, there is a metal insert (cone shaped) that is meant to sit engine side not on the out side... I have this mount and all i have is a slight increase in vibration (as you would expect) but no noise or clunks i'd try that and see if that solves your issue!

Pretty sure you're meant to jack up the sump ever so slightly to keep the engine in the original place it was with OEM mounts

Vibratecnics lower torque mount and leave the standard one up top. Get a bit of vibration but it calms down after a while, will be a damn sight better than those Evol ones lol

@@JustbeingHayden They'll eventually destroy the other mounts too, sends all that vibration to next weakest link. Probably find it would start loosening bolts and snapping stuff too.

Leave the new top mount on but use inserts in the lower one as that should make it not so harsh as using both

I fitted both of the exact same brand and yes they definitely do what they are supposed to do. However they destroyed my car.
