I found a solution in the meantime while you decide whether to either replace the faulty actuator or don't bother. I figured that if the driver side actuator is malfunctioning, you can manually lock the door latch on drivers' side from the passenger side. Just reach over and flip the switch! Now the automatic door lock will function, locking all doors and the mirrors will fold in as well. Cheers!

you can replace just the pump with the walbro juat more of a ball ache separating all the plastic to fit it , also keeps priming when the doors open n closed vag thing , best to just remove the fuel pump relay/fuse
