Thanks for opening the envelope and showing at least a somewhat advanced example of how the game works. It's the only video I've watched that opens an envelope of the game and shows something besides the first chapter that it's super basic.

Also, I’m amazed there isn’t a proper licensed Mad Max RPG (there’s plenty of post apoc ones but it’s all mutants and zombies, not cars and combat)

Daniel, I've got a solo pen and paper game recommendation for you if you're interested. Its called Dungeon Blitz by Peril Planet (Nathan Russell, the guy that made the free-form Universal Rpg.) If you haven't heard of Dungeon Blitz, it plays kind of like Four Against Darkness. The first adventure (Blood Castle) is free right now and there are a few other adventures too. I found out about it recently and really liked it so I thought I'd mention it here. Hope you're doing well my friend!

Dungeon Blitz is fun - its a nice, simple little system. I keep meaning to play beyond the Blood Castle and try one of the other adventures (I've had them both printed out and ready to go for a while now!).

@@lone_adventurer subbed and looking forward to seeing your play though if you do it on camera. Cool channel! I am really enjoying Dungeon Blitz and my only gripe is there isn't more of it. At least its easy and fun to homebrew. I like the mapping style and 2D6 combat.

I agree that the idea is better than the actual game. I was excited to get this but after 3 games ( all failed!) it went into the cupboard of small games and hasn't ventured out since.

It looks fun but overall not my type of game. I know what you mean about the excitement of the dice roll. When I play Shadows of Brimstone and your surrounded by monster's with your back against the wall and you roll six's getting the critical you desperately needed is a great feeling. 😂
