The change to face from biggest heel in the company was amazing and yet so believable at the same time. I think it was because of the injuries and the religious image. I always loved his chaps and would look forward to all the different designs over the years. My favourite ones are the red ones with white crosses on it (which you can see when he wrestles John Cena in 2007).

Cody and McIntyre. Both started their career with being seen as the future of the company to being jobber to getting released. Both worked hard in the indies to prove every hater wrong. Came back to WWE to finish their own story of winning the WWE Championship. Truly a motivational story and an inspiration for everyone!

Drew doesn't realise that he would have started getting the Roman/Cena treatment as top babyface, had they had live fans; he would have been booed against Orton in their late 2020 feud, as Orton was always super-popular by then (despite trying to recreate his most evil 2007-10 'Viperous' ways) and had to turn face in 2021, and Bobby Lashley was mostly cheered against him at Mania 37 when they got a limited number of fans back. Having "live fans in attendance" for a World title reign is never all it's cracked up to be; ask Seth in 2019 and 2024, and even Cody now having many detractors at and *immediately* after Mania XL...

Now I didn’t get into wrestling until 2010, but I remember learning about Eddie from my watching videos of him on KZbin and WWE documentaries. He was just a guy who won WWE championship for 1 time example shocking scenario where jobber or mid card guy wins WWE title for once in his life. Even Jinder being champion acted more like mid carder not even above mid car. WWE put title on him to have Indian audience more engaged but it backfires since Jinder wasn't even loved in India at all. Difference in both runs were. Drew McIntyre made him a top guy and WWE started to treat him a top guy while Jinder was a jobber on whom WWE put their world title for once due to grab some country audience

McIntyre needs another good run. Getting the nod during the COVID era was kind of a farce -- it had to be somebody, so I'm not blaming WWE for anything, but Drew is too good not to give him a WWE title run again. Might be the perfect foil to Cody's babyface character since he's SO over (that is if they don't turn Cody heel at some point during his title run). I like the idea of a morally ambiguous anti-hero dethroning Cody than I do a full-fledged heel. Let's make it interesting. Give Mac the strap in 2025.

It's a shame Christian was later watered down to the ecw title. (I don't think anyone counts that silver title as a legit world title though. Rvd was the last original ecw world title holder. Still the biggest issue with Lashley is his promo skills. He needs a mouthpiece. Joining the street profits waa a head scratcher. Christian carved a spot in the Hall of Fame for himself but yet he's not in the WWE Hall of Fame still. Hopefully 2025 he gets the call finally
