If I were to predict what happens with Gunther, he retains at Mania, he probably won't be at Backlash due to the same Visa issues that kept him away from Elimination Chamber (or at least not to risk anything happening before Berlin). Meanwhile they start building up Gable, give him a big win at Backlash and a few on Raw, then Gable wins the IC title at Money in the Bank in July, and Gunther goes after the WHC in Berlin in August (probably against Drew I don't see him losing it in 3 months time). I can see the IC title match starting the show and Gunther coming in as a surprise entrant in the Men's match if they want to do it that way.

Hopefully asuka isn't seriously injured to defend the titles at mania after she was limping on smackdown. Bayley is probably gonna win but i kinda want iyo to retain & have this feud continue up into summer slam. Where damage ctrl debuted & iyo won the title a year after. Maybe by summer slam they can give this feud a better build without the rock hogging a ridiculous amount of time to the point all segments feel rushed or hardly featured since he's been on smackdown. Which feels like a lot of the damage ctrl stuff has been pushed to the side & barley give time in recent weeks because of the rock.

here are my predictions :D - Gunther vs Sami: Gunther retains, but will lose the title to Chad Gable before Bash in Berlin - Seth vs Drew: Drew wins and will lose the whc to Gunther at Bash in Berlin - Rhea vs Becky: Rhea retains (who will dethrone her? Good question...maybe Liv - with the right booking - or maybe someone new...) - Io vs Bayley: I think Io should retain (give her a big win at WM) (also, if there will be any match involving the women's tag championships, Asuka + Kairi should also retain; Damage ctrl should hold all the gold and turn into a more dominant faction of the women's division - minus Rhea - considering the insane amount of talent in that group!) - here's the big one: Seth causes Cody to be pinned by the Rock during their match against Roman & Rock (I would not give the bloodline two big losses). In the main event, however, Cody defies all odds and beats Roman because he has to! The match can be full of interferences from everyone: Seth, Jay, Sami (why not lol proper Avengers assemble vs the bloodline). Cody has won, the story is finished and everyone is super happy; end credits and show fades into black when, all of a sudden, Judgment Day's music interrupts the celebrations. The whole group attacks Cody, who fights them back as the valiant babyface that he is, but then WHAM! Seth stomps the crap out of him allowing Damian Priest to pin him. New champion, and nuclear heat. This way, the money in the bank contract isn't wasted; it's the culmination of plenty of build-up (attempted/hinted cash-in) and it could be one of the biggest cash-in in many years (at least since Seth's heist of the century). Next, Priest has a brief program (say 2 months) as champion, which will give fans a breather after Roman's endless reign, but this creates major issues within Judgment Day. It goes without saying that Cody will win the title back and then will move into a major feud with Seth.

Prediction…The Rock and Roman win the tag match at Wrestlemania. Roman’s jealousy of all the acknowledgment and attention The Rock has been getting boils over and he and The Bloodline attack The Rock at the end of the tag match cementing the fan hatred for Roman and The Bloodline because by then, everyone will love The Rock. Cody saves The Rock from the attack, cementing Cody’s pure baby face persona…validating his refusal to clap back at The Rock after all the bullying he’s been receiving leading up to Mania. Cody, as a baby face, will be even more loved by the fans for saving The Rock’s ass…and The Rock will not have lost his popularity because Roman and The Bloodline betrayed him. Night 1 ends with The Rock gaining a new found respect for Cody, especially after everything he has said and done to Cody and because his “family” (The Bloodline) turned on him…but Bloodline rules still apply for Night 2. On Night 2, The Bloodline interferes in the championship match but The Rock comes out to help Cody. Cody wins the title and The Rock acknowledges Cody as the new champion. The Rock maintains his edgy persona except that it will be against Roman. The Rock goes on to work an angle against Roman setting up a match at Wrestlemania 41. Here's my predcitions! So we've got 10 official matches and 2 more I think are definite, then 2 more I'd like. For official matches we've got the WWE Championship, Cody vs Roman. Cody is winning, its gonna be the most overbooked shit we've ever seen and the Prime logo is absolutely going to ruin the moment of Cody on his knees and crying when he looks down at the belt but WWE gotta get that advertisement money...🙄 The tag team match is also something I have no interest in watching, don't like Seth doing double duty coming off that injury but if its the only way he finally gets to main event Mania then I'll take it. That said Rock and Roman are winning, Rock is pinning Cody and they'll have a match at SummerSlam, maybe a triple threat with Roman but Rock's filming schedule that has been released might postpone him vs Cody until like Survivor Series or something but I don't suspect Cody is champion that long, no more year long reigns please they're getting boring and babyfaces don't work as unbeatable champions for that long anymore, this aint the terrority days. World Heavyweight Championship is gonna be a squash match I hope, just have Drew run through Seth and finish him in under 5 minutes, gotta play up Seth's body giving up on him and Drew taking advantage off that like he said he would. Women's Championship, Bayley vs Iyo. Bayley is winning, just makes sense having her beat Iyo who is definitely the best female wrestler on the roster but they've booked her reign very poorly and after Mania I don't know what she'll be doing but I hope they've got plans for her. Women's World Championship, Becky vs Rhea. Yeah Rhea is winning, Becky is going to give her the rub and Rhea is the true face off the women's division now so she's getting another big Mania win over the other four horsewoman WWE actually care about. Tag Team Championship six pack ladder match, I'm guessing that DIY, Awesome Truth and New Day qualify from Raw. New Catch Republic (bad name should be British Strong Style) and Austin/Grayson qualify from Smackdown. This is my idea, so Truth's fucking great and his thing at the minute is he thinks DIY are DX so at Mania both teams are going to win. Miz & Truth will get the Smackdown titles and DIY will get the Raw titles. The titles need splitting up already and this is one of the most creative ways to do it, Truth gets a Mania moment and probably a short reign with Miz and DIY get to be tag champs for a bit like Triple H has wanted for a while. Intercontinental Championship, Gunther vs Sami. Gunther is winning, he was going to beat Brock in the original plans and he's going to beat Sami as well. I have an idea later on that leads into a Chad vs Sami feud however. United States Championship, Kevin vs Logan vs Randy. Logan is winning, it's 2 Hall of Famers for him to get a win over at Mania. Triple Threats are no DQ so Kevin and Randy are gonna beat the shit out off him but I suspect Logan is winning and probably holding onto the title for a while, he's beating Dean's reign for longest US championship reign in history. Brother vs Brother, Jey vs Jimmy. I think WWE need to let these 2 cook, go full on tribal combat, bring in Rikishi as a special enforcer, and just have beat the shit out off each other. I WANNA SEE BLOOD! Seriously big blood feuds like this need blood, the crimson element just adds more drama to it. Jey is winning and I actually think he'll be Cody's opponent at Backlash, just gotta have Jey talk about Cody vanquished the Bloodline and how Jey played his part and helped but as friends and former tag team champions together he'd love to be Cody's first opponent. AJ vs LA, this is a Smackdown match if you ask me but it's good to get both guys on the card none the less. LA is winning and I think he's Drew first feud for Backlash, gotta let Drew go against a fan favourite until CM comes back and costs him the title. Now for none official matches! Six woman tag team match, Damage CTRL vs Bianca, Jade & Naomi. Bianca, Jade and Naomi are going to win and poor Asuka still not getting a Mania win but no way they leave Bianca off the card if shes healthy, they've teased Jade and Damage CTRL backstage a few times and Naomi obviously tried to help Bayley on Smackdown considering they're close friends in real life. Rumours about Jade is that she's still not picking everything up well in the perfomance centre so having her in a team with Naomi and possibly winning the tag belts is a good way to protect her whilst she's learning on the job. I thought they'd build Santos vs Rey for Mania but I highly suspect that isn't happening anymore, probably the Smackdown before night one main event so I think the 12th match we definitely get is Bobby vs Karrion in a stipulation match. I think Karrion wins as well, can't leave Bobby off 2 Mania's in a row and Karrion isn't very believable at the minute so have him beat Bobby at Mania, then he can feud with Cody after Backlash (Triple H is big on Karrion so I can see it happening), get Akam and Rezar to beat Miz & R-Truth as well to make the Final Testament an actual treat for the next few months at least. The other 2 matches I'd like to see are 2 battle royals, Andre the Giant shouldn't be on the Smackdown before night one and you can make a Woman's version as well, I'd do Joan Laurer since she's probably the most recognisable woman there has ever been in WWE but with her history in porn I'm not sure they will. Anyway if the do the women's battle royal I think Raquel wins, with everything going on in her personal life it'd be a nice moment for her, can eliminate Liv last who just loves coming 2nd in over the top stipulated matches. Tiffany and Nia would make the final four as well but just have Liv eliminate her and keep Liv's heel turn going cos Tiffany is going to be really over at Mania. Then after Mania you can feud Liv, Raquel and Rhea cos the 3 women have history and Raquel didn't lose clean to Rhea if I'm remembering correctly before she had to leave for treatment. Andre the Giant was from France, Backlash is in France. Have the winner of the battle royal become the number one contender for the IC title in France, who wins the battle royal? Well Chad off course! Last elimination is Sheamus who hasnt been around for a while but makes sense to come back for a battle royal to get an IC title shot. Anyway at Backlash Chad can finally overcome the odds and beat Gunther, then you play into the reports off Sami being upset over the fans being annoyed he's getting Gunther and not Chad, come out, cut a promo in French and then attack Chad. It's a feud that already has a working storyline cos off the online backlash (pun intended), and the fact Chad's shoulders weren't down when he was pinned by Sami in the gauntlet match. There you go, 14 matches, 7 on each night and I'd say an enjoyable card.
