The guys in the suits weren't an anomaly. Back in that era, guys would often go to TV tapings and shows wearing suits as a nod to the Four Horsemen. Often they'd have a sign that read "Junior Horsemen".

My Grandmother hated Dick the Bruiser so much. She had a bullet that she kept on her nightstand next to her bed that literally had "Dick The Bruiser" carved in it lol. She spent the 80's hoping Fritz Von Erich would bring Dick the Bruiser to WCCW in Dallas so she could deliver that bullet to Mr. Bruiser personally. And if you knew my Grandmother she meant every word lol. I miss Nanny

Desert Shield was what our presence in Kuwait was called before the war officially began. It became Operation Desert Storm the moment we declared war. I remember this like it was yesterday, because I signed up to join the U.S. Air Force 6 hours before they announced they were officially declaring war. I know... This 18 year old (at the time) had great timing, right? Lol Regardless of that... The Black Scorpion angle was one of the silliest things I ever saw in WCW, but at least the Black Scorpion didn't give Sting the "Dry Hump of Doom" that Hogan later experienced!!

Wow, you made Bruiser sound like some second rate jobber when in reality he was one of the most popular wrestlers in most territories in the 60's & 70's. WE used to bump into him as kids coming out of various bars and he always had time to tell us story after story. He did wrestle way to long but the Steiners are some of the guys he trained. It was a different time and style obviously and he fit in that period very well.

Old school promoters and wrestlers generally wouldn't have referred to any of the regional promotions in Texas as simply "Texas". At one point there were 5 full time territories in Texas. They'd be more apt to say "Dallas", "Amarillo" or "Houston". Similarly JCP was Charlotte, Don Owen ran Portland. Etc. Obviously there are exceptions here, but I had to point out the TX thing lol. Love the videos 👍. Keep em coming
