Wrestling during Covid boy vs girl wrestling, TOUGH match to watch! She wrestled hard!

As a parent this is some tough moments when it's a difficult/challenging match, hard to watch, and you question yourself if you made the right choice to let them join!?
As a parent you hope you did, what matters is they are learning that you will have tough moments within this sport and that is how you grow and get better! She really love this sport and no matter how tough the match is, she tries even harder...this is her first lost during this season. She is learning great discipline, working hard and its OK to lose because that is how you get better as a wrestler.
This is her 3rd match of the day and she was exhausted.
The difficult part for me is I couldn't be there to support her due to COVID restrictions so I watch the recorded video and that was tough for me to watch!!!
I do have to laugh when she said "OMG I cant breath" and the ref did a great job in calming her down, and her response made it funny.
Her other match that day...this one was sooo much easier to watch!!!

İt is totally unfair for boys to participate boy-girl wrestling. It is a no win game for them. İf a boy is pinned by a girl in front of audience, it is already a big and destructive humiliation, moreover it is uploaded under titles like "girl dominates boy" or "girl wrecks boy" that means "Come and watch a girl stronger than boys" and also "Come and watch that poor and weak boy helpless against girl"..that aggravates the actual humiliation. that is a nightmare ... if he wins the fight without a quick pin then still all appreciations go to the girl as it is the case here; even if he can pin the girl nobody appreciate it, nobody glampurize the win, nobody upload its video in youtube; the sole reward of the effort is just "not being humiliated"

She's good! Very tough, too. Can't win 'em all, though, unfortunately. Upside is that most of the time you'll learn more from a loss than you will from a win.

I think what save her is her flexibility and her will to not get pin. She had 2 previous matches prior to this already and she was exhausted! Of course he is definitely a strong wrestler...good learning experience for her. Hope you got the chance to watch her other matches.
