I know the selling point, if you will, is the split/hopping moment (which is pretty cool and creative on the girl's part since I'm sure that's not something you teach), but I was very impressed by this girl overall. I think the boy here started the match thinking that although she escaped him initially that he was going to win pretty handily. However, IMHO, the girl dominated this match overall and did a great job using technique, her lower body strength and excellent flexibility. I actually think she was the better athlete overall. If she performs this well every time out she's going to be hard to beat.

@@filipina-american1867 I don't think you need to worry b/c her improvement from the earlier videos I've seen to this one is pretty extraordinary. She seems to have had less of a learning curve and more like a learning spike. Plus, she's obviously extremely flexible, surprisingly strong and has natural instincts (like the split/hopping). She'll be pinning more boys in the future, so I look forward to you posting those matches as well

Yeah that boy was a lethargic wrestler - - I wrestled in HS for 4 years so it is easy to spot stuff. For starters that boy appeared to be in very poor conditioning? To me he looked to be mostly out of gas after the first period. His knowledge of wrestling and how to use his weight and what strength he had was also very poor. I'm going to guess that he was probably a freshmen or beginning wrestler? Another thing so obvious was his alarming lack of upper body strength -- watch the sequence starting a 4:49 where she completely over powers him -- he almost pinned himself. Then at 5:31 he obligingly lifts his left arm so she can sink a half-nelson in on him. After that until he was mercifully pinned at 5:59 his efforts to extract himself can only be described as lame -- basically he gave up and let her roll him. But like I mentioned it looked to me like he was exhausted. Overall it was a sad performance from the boy. The girl was a solid wrestler and would have won on points for sure but the boy basically just laid over and took the pin.
