I was at a Thursday Thunder taping and Nash was getting heckled. He looked back at the guy twice and I didn’t get what he was doing. Leaning but holding onto the ropes. 99% of pro wrestling takes place in small venues still to this day so im not sure what you mean by it being a thing of the past. guys in aew and wwe who are actual wrestlers and not trained by the wwe most likely wrestled in very similar places to this. only in the last decade have there been people on tv who didnt first go through the indies of some kind. the rock started out as flex cabana or whatever and wrestled indies in memphis. this is what real pro wrestling is not the crap on wwe and aew tv shows nowadays. the best wrestling shows ive ever been to were indie shows like roh, czw, iwa mid south, the real ecw and all of those companies ran very small shows at one time.
