As a kid we saw Ric in a show on the Uk Rampage tour... Some time in the late 80's maybe early 90's, the card was genuinely incredible with Lod, Savage, Brett etc and Ric put Davey Boy over clean in main event. After the show everyone was desperate to meet their idols, pretty much all of them ignored us apart from Ric, he saw my younger brother who was bout 7 at the time and had white blonde hair, put his hand on his head and said 'WOOOO LITTLE MAN!' incredible moment for a kid. I think the best way to describe Ric is 'a complicated man' hes got good qualities and bad like the rest of us, just maybe more extreme.

I met Ric in Orlando, probably 13 or more years ago. I walked up to him with my daughter and asked very politely for his autograph. He smiled ,shook my hand, talked to my daughter, and signed her book. I had to show several people leaving the restaurant/bar because they all said I was the first person that he didn't turn down. I said maybe ya'll need a cute little girl lol. He was as nice and polite to us as anyone could be for the few minutes we spoke.

Off the topic, but I want to send my thoughts and prayers to the family and loved ones of The Iron Sheik who passed away an hour ago today. A WWF World Champion, a graduate of Verne's training camp along with Ric Flair, funny as hell outside the ring, and a legend in the business. Rest in peace, Khosrow.

My neighbor's cousin had murdered his daughter. I had no idea and we were talking and she told me. She is actually a good woman, can't blame her for what her cousin did. She never once tried to defend him. She said he was always a hot head and she was always afraid of him. Very sad story

I don't give a damn about Flair's actions in real life. As a wrestler he is an absolute legend and could make any wrestler look like a million dollars. His promos are simply unmatched. He could tear down and build up his opponents in the same promo. He lived his gimmick and is the GOAT.

Flair was super cool the 2 times i met him.. once outside nitro where on two separate occasions he came out & signed autographs for me and then another time in Salisbury North Carolina at a Shoney's restaurant where I was cooking he came in to use the restroom and get a cup of coffee, and he took the time to sign an autograph for me... fun fact he was with a very young Charlotte Flair who was heading to a volleyball tournament.

Only 12 seconds in and dude says they went to Cutter and JaBooty, Africa 🤣 on their middle east tour. Don't know those are real places but i laughed more than i should have. I'm definitely going to watch the whole hour and 41 minutes of this. As for The Nature Boy Ric Flair? I think he's one of the all time best Promo's and hos ring work was great most of the time. Which is something looking at how long he was in the business. If someone were to day Flair is in their top 5 of greatest wrestlers of all time. . . It's hard to argue them on it. Outside of the ring? Sadly, it seems like he's self destructive.

When Sabu said the baby faces were heels in real life was he still talking about flair because Flair was a HEAL MOST OF HIS CAREER DUMMY
@JustShootin Жыл бұрын
Shane Douglas and his bs are so laughable, his failed career is always someone else fault. Never has he taken any responsibility for anything at all. Nothing more than a glorified lower mid babyface, and before anyone mentions him being "on top" in ECW get a grip, the only reason he got over in ECW is because Paul E. knew how to hide his weaknesses and allowed him to cuss in his promos and up to that point it had never been done before. A never-was pointing the finger at anyone he can, because he couldn't get over anywhere other than ECW which was smoke and mirrors and Heyman edits.
