I mean, if someone offered you a career of 13 years or over 1,300 matches, but you have to lose every time, you’ll probably take the long career it took to get beat, because people are coming to see you lose. The fact both are champions and are still very relevant after decades of doing this says they lose, but they’re not simply “doing a job,” they’re really great! The fact it’s those guys to get there speaks to their talents, and that’s respectable.

Kevin Nash being the lowest drawing champion is pretty unfair to hold against him considering all the stupid gimmicks and no one for him to work with. He also had pretty bad booking as well. This was a time in WWF when we had Mantaur, TL Hopper and Duke the Dumpster among others far worse. Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels were his only great matches during that time. Plus they turned him into a babyface which didn't help. He didn't draw well till the handcuffs were taken off and the nWo was created.

I don't think the MitB has a chance of a shorter reign, simply because the holder needs to run out to the ring, and then hand the case over to the ref, and then the ref has to waste time jabbering to the timekeeper or whomever, and then it needs to be announced, and it's just a way to waste a ton of time. What NEEDS to happen is the holder is already at ringside, then the moment the winner is announced, they slide into the ring, bop the champ in the head, hand the case over to the ref, the ref waves his hands to the timekeeper, the bell is rung, and the count is started immediately. No announcing, no explaining the situation, none of that nonsense. We already know what it means when you hand the case to the ref. They act as if everyone involved is new and needs instructions every time.
