Demon Beast no they're not. England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales make up the UK and the United Kingdom is in charge of The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. Great Britain was formed from the commonwealth which was countries like, China, India, Australia, New Zealand and a lot more. The commonwealth broke up over the years and soon enough it was only really The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, but on 1921 Ireland got its independence from the UK but Northern Ireland stayed with the UK. Of course some people in Northern Ireland wanted to stay with Ireland and some wanted to stay with the UK, so around came the Ira and the 1960's troubles. Of course Northern Ireland ended up staying with the UK, but then Brexit came round and the Uk (mainly just wales and England) voted to leave the EU. But Northern Ireland might have a referendum wether to leave the UK and join Ireland and Scotland more then likely will vote to leave the U.K. And become independent. So as you have learned from my quick history/ geography lesson, that Britain is not the Same as England, and that the UK more than likely will collapse over the next 20-40 years. So if you are in school tell your teacher that you can skip out on your lesson about the UKs history and future because you already know. 😉
