The JBL and Eddie Guerrero segment with his mother was the first time I watched and fell in love with this sport as a child

*More info about Mama Guerrero* The other Guerreros were cracking jokes to tease Eddie. They were like "Let's get some color on mom! Hey mom, how do you feel taking a clothesline? The big boot's real safe, it's easy" and Eddie didn't find it funny, he was getting madder and madder. So naturally when Mama Guerrero fell down and the doc - the real Guerrero family doc they brought on for the work - thought she was having a real heart attack, Eddie was livid. There's conflicting information about whether or not Mama Guerrero actually suffered a medical incident during this angle. Some say the entire thing is a fabulous work, others that she actually suffered a real heart attack, and one explanation claims she had an anxiety attack and was fine after getting some oxygen and some space.

I speak for only myself and those that may agree but even being hispanic myself (guatemalan specifically), to this day it still makes me laugh seeing that Scmackdown somehow got away with JBK kicking mexicans across the border XD Smackdown that year was SOOOOO fucking wild i love it!!

Paul Heyman's shoot on JBL sounded like it was as much a shot at Triple H for hogging the World Heavyweight Title. I understand Pillman's Loose Cannon character being a gimmick, but what about his attack on Heenan at the commentary table. I wonder if that was planned. Heenan's reaction would suggest it wasn't.

I will say Eric Bishoff's challenge was 'real'. Had he shown up, we would have seen a fight. And I'd go with Eric.
@jeffrobagman2834Ай бұрын
I dunno about that. Eric was likely the more skilled fighter (legit practiced material arts), but Vince was juicing like hell back then.

Lmao, The hate is real !! AEW is 5 years old give them time, All he has to do to change the impact of AEW is book smaller Venues for Dynamite and Collision and only focus on Arenas and Stadiums for the PPVs/PLEs….. The Khan’s also have to manage the Jaguars and the stadium, also ROH that he recently put money into
@SHVWXXIVАй бұрын
AEW is nothing compared to WWE and they will never try to be, They are the modern day ECW and WCW simply by the way they COLLAB WITH OTHER PROMOTIONS and don’t be greedy towards their wrestlers and keep them locked under contract like The bland billion dollar entertainment business in which is WWE 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️

The clips you showed eddie and JBL with team 3D wasn't scripted. Eddie literally had a heart attack. Every person that was in that match said it wasn't faked. I dare you to go find Bubba Ray and tell him his face.That was fake what eddie did, Because bubba will not your lights out.

WTF does AEW do so many press conferences? does WWE also do them and just not highlight it or does Tony Khan just like attention? seems like he is sitting in on every one of them. Edit: Does MJF really believe the crap that comes out of his mouth? I have seen WWE Superstars shows with more talent and excitement than most AEW main events. This is why rejected WWE stars run to them to rebuild their careers and run back to WWE when they're over with the fans again. They're more of a WWE developmental brand like OVW.
