I thought Theory counting his abs while waiting for the crowd to finish singing Seth’s theme was low-key hilarious.

I will always have a soft spot for this show. Rhea Ripley is my favorite wrestler. I was struggling with depression, I had so much shit going on, my career was at a dead end, I was losing hope. I flew 1500 miles to meet her in July because I needed something to spark my life and she recognized me from social media and I asked her for advice and she told me "you're stronger than you may think and life gets so much better trust me" and gave me a hug. Here we are and she was right my life has gotten better since then. This show hit me real hard. The fact it was built around her, it was her homecoming after 7 years, she main evented, this was special and she deserved every single moment of it.

Nice to hear about someone who has overcome their depression. Myself I’m still in deep and fed up of having my life revolving around OxyContin (which I’ve been prescribed for 14yrs now I get 112 40mg pills every Friday due to a serious spinal injury) and now the NHS has told me I need to drop my dosage so I’ve been spending around £1100 a month on heroin thankfully I have the money to do that but I’m so sick and tired of everything, from getting up 2-3 in the night to take my meds mixed with heroin. I used to have a great life and I was a great athlete and was doing local MMA fights then one day while installing air conditioning in a hotel (I own my own business) I slipped off the roof and landed on concrete steps below having 12 collapsed wedge fractures in my back 8 thoracic vertebrae and 4 lumber, ruptured my spleen or pancreas and my body has been fucked ever since. I was 27 at the time and I’m 42 now and the fact I can’t do anything that I used to do has had me in a dark place for a long time but I’m glad to hear that someone has risen above it and I hope your depression doesn’t come back

I am so thankful to however in the upper echelons of the WWE decided to hold a PLE not only in Australia, but in my hometown of Perth. There was no way I was going to pass up a once in a lifetime experience like this. First time ever attending a WWE event in any capacity and I couldn't be more happy to have been a part of it. Some things that I wanted to share being a part of it in person are as follows. The reason the screen blacked out following Dom's ejection was because a lot of the crowd gave him the Stone Cold salute. In fact, the entire match, the crowd really laid into Dom. Every time they showed him on the screens the crowd just rained boos, it was pretty great. The crowd also chanted stuff like 'fuck you Dom' or 'Dom is a wanker' whenever he tried interfering. They also gave Logan Paul the same kind of chants which was awesome. They did the 'hey hey goodbye' song when Dom was ejected and when Logan was eliminated. People can say that the WWE are purposely lowering the volume on Dom's mic in order for the boos to sound more loud than they are, but I was there and the boos were absolutely deafening. No matter where Dom goes, the heat follows him. It's that nuclear. I can also confirm on how over Tiffany Stratton was. The crowd cheered everything she did, they were chanting Tiffy Time every chance they got, and you wouldn't believe the pop that came from her eliminating Naomi it had to be one of the louder ones. Of course they were displeased when she was eliminated raining down the boos and BS chants. The whole thing with the crowd shots mainly comes down to the fact that pretty much everyone was already on their feet before the entrances were made. As soon as the match was announced everyone was already waiting, standing with phones at the ready. This was especially the case with Rhea's entrance. Everyone was already so eager for her music to drop they didn't want to sit and wait for it. For the chamber matches this was also the case, they weren't gonna just stand and then sit only to stand back up within a few seconds. For both chamber matches I alone stood for what felt like 10 minutes straight for all the entrances. The crowd was so eager for a lot of stuff and didn't want to wait for the music to drop for them to stand and cheer. The Grayson Waller Effect may be a point of contention and something I'm sure a lot of people question as to why you'd have a talk show segment on a PLE. But you also need to consider where the show took place and what a big deal it is for someone like Grayson to go out in front of so many people and do his show, but to do it in Australia and to receive the best reception he has gotten from over 50000 fans sure had to of been a special moment. As well as to share that with Seth and Cody who are two of your top faces in the company is definitely a moment that's going to stick with him. The fans were just happy to see Grayson share a ring with Cody and Seth. There were a couple of production botches during the mens chamber match, and they all involved the countdown timer. Firstly, that timer was confusing to us, I can confirm we counted it down from 5 at first but then realised it was counting down from 15. Then after the first timer went, shortly after, another timer came up which was confusing because it barely had been a minute since the first one, but that was a botch. But the crowd counted down anyway only for nothing to happen. AND then the timer came up AGAIN but instead was plastered in the center of the screens but didn't count down. The screens blacked out several times after that and when they were finally fixed the crowd popped pretty big. Gotta say too, that pop for the RKO to Logan was incredible. One of the biggest on the night.

I think they did the Grayson Waller Effect segment so that: 1. Grayson got airtime in his home country 2. Seth could announce he would be cleared soon so he's definitely not missing Mania 3. Cody teased explaining why he seemed to give away his match but got interrupted, so perhaps that will be explained later down the line (I do wish they explained it right here now though) 4. Possibly teasing a break-up between Theory and Waller (since Waller did nothing while Theory got beaten up) 5. Just having a break between the first half of matches and second half of matches on the card
@JacksonOwex

Indi had a good reception on the pre-show. Women's chamber was great, Tiffy time chants were LOUD. People were booing Dominic so loud I couldn't hear his promo. Mens chamber was good. People love la knight, but Perth reallllly likes Randy. Perth can't count, the crowd kept messing up the chamber countdown. Lot of production glitches with the screens and one of the countdowns. Glad Rhea got the main event but yeah I wish there was more to this ple. Still enjoyed it though. Some people tried to chant some nasty things about Nia but fortunately it didn't catch on.

This was a surprisingly excellent show. Considering the outcomes were almost guaranteed beforehand for each match, they were able to make it extremely entertaining, especially the tag match and the rhea/jax match. Also, the whole "why did cody give up his spot" stuff will be explained. You need to let the story play out. It most likely will be the rock turning on roman at mania so cody wins and that is what the rock and cody talked about in the ring that night. Tiffany is a future megastar of the womens division. Dom gets the most amount of heat i may have ever seen. The tag match was the match of the night. Seth and grayson are so damn entertaining. KO and Logan paul are so good together. The logan RKO was shot beautifully. Even though we all figured drew would win, i didnt see the logan punch coming. Also, throughout the whole match, they kept the storyline of drew bein opportunistic. Very good long term storytelling with drews character since the rumble. This was probably nia's best match ever. Id imagine that she really wanted to make this special for rhea in her home country and man did this match hit the nail on the head.

The PLE was a great showcase of the talent for Australia. The men's and women's EC matches were my favorite. Kevin Owens and Tiffany Straton were my favorite participants. Rhea Ripley looked great.

I think this show did really well for getting new fans into wrestling as well. I was sat next to a couple of guys who had never watched any of the product and had told me that they got tickets just to see what the big deal was. By the end of it, they became fans and said they wanted to watch more

I enjoyed the show overall; it may lack some things compared to last year, but there was something to be had. Rhea's homecoming is among the best to me; she said it is her "Wrestlemania before Wrestlemania," which I thought was an interesting way of looking at it. She and Nia did better than expected; thought there was going to be more of a power game and wound up doing a bit more (Rhea showed more ariel offense than usual and her agility and Nia was ideal in how she executed her spots). The women's chamber was fun; many double pin combos for sure, Tiffany did a great showing, Naomi did amazing work and Becky went all the way from the beginning to win (Drew I thought did too). Rhea and Becky is the match I look forward to the most so far for WM40. :)

I like that under Triple H so many more people feel viable to slotting higher up the card and women seem to be showcasing more and more not just in the main event, but in non-main event stuff. As for the whole Rock/Roman thing, I remember hearing that Rock basically was pushing to be "the savior" of Wrestlemania and Triple H was subtly pushing back. It kind of seems like Rock and Higher Ups were convinced everyone would love Rock coming in like that cause it's The Rock, while Triple H possibly knew otherwise and kept laying the groundwork to get things back on track when it did go wrong.

for me logan definitely dropped my fun of the men's chamber match... seeing him get beat down was good.. but, he came in last, is the youngest one there, and spent almost the entire time laying down.. and after he was eliminated, i noticed him still sitting inside the cage the whole time, so i knew he was going to interfere, which we already had the interference spot, plus drew should have been able to win that on his own, especially with Orton selling his back so much, and no explanation to why logan was allowed to stay for so long after being eliminated.

Thing is Roman and Dwayne don't need to have a match for the championship. WWE could've used the fact that Dwayne never got his rematch for the WWE championship. After he lost to Cena. Mick said when rock returns he will get his title rematch.

Literally nobody knows what was going on with that whole situation....This could have been a work the entire time and this is exactly how the angle was supposed to work, but we'll never actually know...BUT the indie smarks trying to run around the internet patting themselves on the back like Barry Horriblewitz look even stupider...Nobody can say there was even anything to "change"

I’m just happy WWE is making PPV in another country as big as they are other than Saudi Arabia. WWE should give back to their fans outside around the world and those PR video is doing their job showing them giving back to their young fans. Each time they go outside of the U.S., the fans are loud. I don’t have to worry about it because I live in the U.S. near a big city. Also, I agree with the build up for Nia, WWE did it well. And I’m sure they did it just for this PPV, planning/banking for one of the biggest star, Rhea, to main event the show. But Nia came back “took out” Rhea for a few weeks, and dominated the Raw’s women division in her absence. Also, it would be great if Rhea maintain the title at mania, then she can drop the title afterwards like in Backlash.

I loved both of the chambers. The women’s one was break neck and more about big spots. The men’s one was super physical and more story driven with interferences and some fucking great selling from orton. I think I prefer the mens one slightly but Stratton is the mvp of the whole show easily. The tag match was great and I also enjoyed the main event a lot as well. Good card. Predictable but that’s not a bad thing.

YES! It's bothered me so much that we never got an explanation from Cody as to why he gave up his WM title match, then why he changed his mind. This would be a lot more fulfilling if they revealed that. It's insulting to ignore this part of the story because it's so integral to the build to Mania.

The tag team title match between JD and New Catch Republic, really brought out the WWE's equivalent of the Ashes, between Australia and England, which ironically, both Tyler Bate and Pete Dunne, were WWE NXT UK Champs at the time, and they were from Great Britain, really brings up the Ashes vibes right there in the match in case anyone doesn't know.
