But the people of Cleveland were so butthurt about him moving the team (which he only did because the city refused to upgrade the decaying stadium) that they sued. And this, Mr Zane, is one of the reasons I belong to your Patreon group. I thought I was pretty well versed in recent wrestling history from about 1974 forward. I am familiar with most of the regional territories of the past and wrestlers who did shows in said territories. And I had ZERO idea that this ever existed. I knew that Jerry came to the WWF in the early 90s, but thought he came in when he saw the writing on the wall for regional territories. To think this kind of cross promotion was going on right under the nations noses with Vince going full heel. I hope some fans watching this actually got to see the programs when they aired in the Memphis area and share their thoughts.

Just when you think you have a pretty good grasp on wrestling history... Honestly, even looking past the SWEET Chris Hero appearance, this is an amazing video Brian! Always learn a lot from these WWW videos, but this one was a fantastic piece of history.

We had a local station in Hickory, NC that would show USWA weekly as well as WWE syndicated programming. It was fun to watch at the time.
