Hi guys, love your content. can you please consider adding timestamps to these videos? a lot of the time people don't have a full hour to watch your videos, and being able to find the parts we are interested in would be a great help.

If Parky won’t give Mullin very many playing minutes (even with Marriot out of the line up) then there is zero chance Dalby would get any minutes
@Drowsyfall14 күн бұрын
I'm beginning to wonder if Mullin is fully fit or if there is something lingering after his surgery. We aren't super productive in front of goal as is so not starting him seems odd unless there is a fitness issue. It's not like a productive striker would be benched at this point

Your guest, the Bristol Rovers correspondent Dan Hargraves is a Jack Marriott look-a-like!?! Surely I'm not the only one to see this?

I'm with every one of Rich's points regarding Sam Dalby. Mullin finding his form again would solve a lot of problems, but landing a Championship calibre striker with potential to grow is not only going to be expensive but exceedingly difficult for a team still in League 1. Unless the Gods smile on Wrexham and we find that perfect striker I think we'll be signing a former top Championship striker on the decline or with injury issues this January to get us that magical third promotion. I've heard rumours that we're taking a look at Leeds' Patrick Bamford for instance. We'll get Wexham's future star striker in the summer.

Could well be right re the big summer move. But a Championship club is going to get Louie Barry in January and a lot of PL teams will loan out their young stars. Other teams are who marooned in midtable will also start looking to generate funds and the club are quietly confident they can land a marquee name
@dscott662910 күн бұрын
@@robryanred Definitely there will be some quality players coming onto the market with next year's roster limit changes in the Premier League. Clearly Wrexham has a full purse ready to go when the right players are in play. And, because negotiating will be much simpler as a Championship team (not to mention the fiscal advantages coming from being in the 2nd division as opposed to the 3rd) I'm very confident that quite a bit of money is going to be spent this January to make promotion as close to a lock as possible. Three or four quality players with Premier League experience under their belt will be added IMHO. I'm still holding out for Paul Mullin but he's only got three or four games to find his form before Phil Parkinson pulls the trigger.

Way Everton are going atm, Next Season they could do a Ground Share at Bramley Moore Dock with Wrexham in the Championship.

We need to go to a back 4. Then you can leave in Lee and put Mullin in. We need to graduate to a back 4 gentlemen.

The switch is Mullin for Palmer... see how that goes... we need goals where Palmer wont provide, try it let's see
@robryanred10 күн бұрын
Nobody can replicate the work Palmer puts in in terms of taking a physical beating. If Lee is injured (as it now appears) you slot Mullin in next to OP

I’d love Dalby back….but. …Does he fit into Parky’s set up…what do you guys think..?
@robryanred10 күн бұрын
Can't see it... and also feels a touch unfair to bring him back if he's suddenly not going to get an opportunity similar to what he's getting at Dundee United. But given he's out of contract it's curious what they do if they try to call bluff and sell him

Forde, Faal and Aaron James out on loan - frees up spots without impeding on the core. GKs don't count in the twenty-two?
@seamusfahey616515 күн бұрын
Sorry - yes, James doesn't count either because of age, but PP has already mentioned him needing a loan to get more playing time. Bodvardson is gone . . .
@BruceMcFarling14 күн бұрын
Faal out on loan doesn''t free up any spots, he was only 20 on January 1st, he doesn't occupy a squad spot. Keep him in the side and in the Wrexham weight room, building up the upper body strength to be an younger, faster, more dangerous lead striker in the 3-5-1-1 formation. Sign a bloody quick and fast attacking player for the recessed striker role, paying the cash needed to sign a quick & fast attacking player.

If you guys really believe that League 1 is a higher caliber of football than the Scottish Premiership then with all due respect, please give me whatever it is you are smoking. Celtic, Rangers, Aberdeen and Dundee would wipe the floor in League 1. Dalby scoring regularly in Scotland would absolutely translate to League 1. To just dismiss what he has accomplished there and automatically assume he wouldn’t get into this Wrexham side seems foolish to me.
@robryanred10 күн бұрын
Fair point. I (Nathan) covered the Old Firm teams up there with work previously and outside of Celtic/Rangers I'm not so sure the top of L1 gets schooled by the rest of Scotland's top tier sides. Would be keen to see it, mind you ha

Why do you guys want to over-pay for a mediocre striker in Jan? It’s just a bad idea. We are way better off getting Dalby back versus signing a new striker in Jan. The likelihood that we can get someone good in Jan at a reasonable price is just slim.
@kenbareilles27947 күн бұрын
It's also possible to get a free trial with Dalby. He can train and play 5 games of increasing competition over the course of January while under contract, with enough time left to send him back to Dundee United if it's not a good fit. Bring him back on Jan 1. training with the team. On the squad starting against Peterborough (weak defense) at home on Jan 4. Start him again for the Trophy game Jan 7 at Port Vale, and the a full week of training (due to the Reading postponement) before visiting Shrewsbury on the 16th. After those three warm up games, Follow that up hosting Birmingham and Stevenage. That's a 5 game tryout in January. If it's not a good fit, sell him to Dundee for a nominal fee. If it's a good fit, we found our 9. He just turned 25 and has trained with Parky and the Lads for two years. Makes more sense than looking for someone else.
