A PT used this technique on me and caused TFCC central tear and ECU luxation. I believe I had a bit of ulnar impaction and/or thinned TFCC going on prior, but still. This can be detrimental to an already fragile wrist.

@Brookbushinstitute I generally appreciate your content, but as a Certified Hand Therapist, I must say I would advise AGAINST both carpal mobilization & manipulations as the bones, ligaments and tendons are effectively smaller and weaker. Also, their intricate interactions are at highly at risk should any of the segments rupture or become too mobile. No good quality study supports the use of manual therapy for the wrist, so at most mobilizations are safer, and some CHTs have found anecdotal success with them. It’s recognized to me more appropriate to use physiological motion and proprioception to stabilize the wrist in order to prevent long-term issues

A friend of mine tried both of the techniques (we're both studying physiotherapy) and on both arms from the inner lower side of the brachium to the fingers I felt an intense feeling of the nerves. I'm not sure which nerves they are but I'm guessing it's ulnar and median nerves. Also is there a specific name for these two manipulation techniques other that just carpal manipulation. Thank you for your videos btw they're really good and helpful 🤘💪

Dear sir, I would request u if u cud tell me that in case of the technique where u use ur nuckle as ur forecrum when u pull from the wrist upwards...ur thumb that's placed on the lunade. Is that just placed there or is that pressing inwards while u thrust/ pull with the nuckles upwards.. at this time what's the role of thumb on lunade? Press down or just place them der. And nuckles are used to thrust upwards. Cud u share a picture of where and how exactly are nuckles placed. Ur videos really help me a lot as I cure many people with this free of cost as m retired now and don't work for money. From bhutan. Thank u.

How about the common problem of the distal ulnar disc being out of place, both flexion, extension and ulnar deviation painful. How would you manipulate that?
