I'm on track to self publish two novels within the next year or so. One is a contemporary and the other a fantasy novel. Both are difficult in their own way. But with the fantasy in particular it's hard not to get down on myself when my outline ends up being so bare bones at first. Your video has helped me to feel a little a bit better in that regard. Great video, loved the candidness!

1:25 I have been there. It's ok to feel that way. We feel worse so when the time finally comes for us when something happens good it moves us. 5:37 I understand. Big hugs to you. Going under something as well. Sigh. I just keep the hope it gets better. 10:51 why not work on all 3? If one gets boring you can start working on the other one. Until you feel distracted enough to work again back on the original one.

Hi Lynn. I totally feel the "scattered brain" type things that ADHD presents as during a day. It can be a real challenge to get what you want done, when you want to do it, because part of the brain keep rearranging the list inside the mind. (I deal with ADHD myself too) Anyhow, keep setting one foot in front of the other with your goals, and I am sure you will achieve all that you dream. Loving your VLOGs by the way. 😁😁✍✍

I'm thinking of writing novel, but i don't know how to. I do poetry and stuff but writing novel feels overwhelming. I don't know if I have it in me to keep going with a novel. Writing long consistent stuff with a storyline doesn't come as naturally as writing poems to me. Do you have any tips for me? Any tutorial that teaches how to write? Thank you.

everyone starts somewhere different, especially when it comes to writing longform stuff. I'd recommend rereading books you really admire and trying to break apart the craft/what you like about them. additionally, studying basic plot structure (three act, save the cat) might help break down a longer story into more manageable pieces. i hope this helps!
