Love these melody analyses, they are really helpful. Can you continue these series? I would want these on melodies from Kygo, Max Martin and ABBA :)

@@nikokotoulas Hi Niko, could you consider making a video explaining how to make a particular style of vocal chops that illenium does in his songs like free fall, and hard to say goodbye? I haven't found a tutorial about it :D

you are a crack in any channel and videos will tell you a comprehension so deep that it changes your way of composing in 15 minutes or in 5 videos if you see them all I am not fluent in English but thanks to KZbin that gives me the option to translate the video and although I do not translate it well the idea is understood I am very excited and I hope a future buying your course hehehe does not matter if I do not speak English but I want to take my production to another level and well even if it is with a pure translator something is something God bless you

I am not sure about the whole analyzing major and minor melodies in a major scale, I think it fucks up the analysis

wait for some more videos to come out... this method was the best way that all of my students learned and I'll be diving into it further (including the difference between major and minor)... thanks for your opinion though

Your numbers are really confusing because it is based on the C major sequence. Whereas some melodies are written in minor keys, which mean you have to transpose them to A minor not C major. Even it they share the same notes, the 1 become A not C. Now of course you are gonna find patterns with your method but it's confusing to anyone wanting to learn music theory. You should explain that to beginners. Your left hand should know whats the key to harmonize with a logical chords progression and not just chords that goes well with the current note Good work nevertheless
