✨ A B O U T ✨
My name is Abbie Emmons I teach writers how to make their stories matter by harnessing the power and psychology of storytelling, transforming their ideas into a masterpiece, and creating a lifestyle that makes their author dreams come true.
Story isn’t about “what happens” - it’s about how what happens affects and transforms the characters. I believe that there is an exact science (a recipe, if you will) behind a perfect story. And if you know what ingredients you need, you can create your own perfect story with ease and confidence. That’s what we talk about every week on this channel - and if it’s something you’re into, be sure to subscribe and join this community!

Hi, Abbie, I was there for about 2 hours last night, but couldn't stay for the whole thing. I just wanted to thank you for doing this - I'd been hugely lacking motivation to write, but then made major progress in this live stream. Have you thought about doing these more regularly? Maybe once a week, or once every two weeks? Just an idea, but no pressure. Thank you again!

Hi Abbie! I just wanted to say that this is my first time doing NaNoWriMo this year and your write with me live streams have been the reason why I have written so much. I'm at day 20 and I'm about to hit 40k words. It also helps that we are doing NaNoWriMo in English for my Freshman year so I have been writing during that time too. I just wanted to say thank you for everything you have done to help me with my writing journey. Thank you so much! 😊

I read 1400 words during 4 sessions. I'm almost 10k words into my current WIP. Haven't been feeling like writing for a week now, but I knew I needed to, so I put this on, and really enjoyed it! I'm fallin' in love with my characters so much. But, a little worried that I am focusing too much on the relationship plot and not enough on what is going on outside of that, ahaha. Having fun with it though, so I am not going to stress too much over that, at the moment. I just need to get draft 1 finished.

I went with this sprint today, But I did not go all the way, I think I went halfway, and stopped at 500-and-something words, and half a song (Writing the song wasn't part of the plan, it just happened) But thanks for the video, i do believe that it helped with writing my story. 💚

I guess working on several projects because you can leave one & go back to it later with a fresh mind. If one idea doesn't work in one book, you can pull it out and put it into another. Whatever you write. Don't throw it out. A tip my ex-writting tutor told me. Because you can always select parts of it for future books.

Word count: 3320!! Whoops! Not a record by any means but still quite a chunk! It propelled me through a scene I had been stuck in and now I'm knee-deep into an improv scene and I actually cried out when the timer rang because it didn't want it to end yet! Oh well. I can come back to it later tonight. For now, time to get going with my day.

I don't think you would've answered my comment on ur vid from last year about characters so ill ask here, do I make a whole plan for every character e.g a servant who'll tell a huge secret, or just the main ones e.g father of the main character? I want to be organized but is it too much considering my story is to have many characters?

I have a question. What if I really want my story to turn out great. And I want to put in a lot of effort and time into this story. But I really don't want to make it into a full fleged novel. Mainly because I don't want to want to need to make everyone else happy, but I also want to make it somthing that I could be proud to show someone else if I ever felt like it. And also Particularly because I'm super new to committing to writing somthing this long because I've never gotten this far in the planing stage before, so my family doesn't know that I'm writing this story. And I'm just worried that if I show they they will think that this somthing that I'm super committed to that is my new passion and hobbie and they'll tell everyone on Facebook and they'll buy stuff and everything. But what if I don't end up liking what I wright and don't want to show anyone. Or I could end up loving what I write and want to publish it. So I just don't know if I should tell people, or just keep it for me and my closest friend. But I'm getting really excited so I'm just not sure.

Hmm... I don’t know, I have never been in that position before but I see where you are coming from. I have wanted to write too. I am writing a book about a duck 🦆 but I want to be commuted to it and I want to do a good job but it is taking forever and with school and life I just can’t write anymore. I had 5 chapters too and had been writing for 3 months. I don’t have family members that are active on Facebook but I do know what it feels like to to be into something but you don’t want people to go all out for you If you tell them. I don’t have any advice to give, I am sorry, but I relate to your situation in some ways and I want to help.

They don't give a battery replacement and trying to convince people that we are just protecting the environment. The more problem in environment is the increasing number of dump mobile phones because the phone has poor battery life and the batteries are not easy to replace. If they already decided not to give a charger but at least should give an extra battery instead of chargerナ Thank you, From: Rohan Rahman
