This is an inspiring video coming at a right time for me! I am mostly a photographer. But I wanna play more with video now. Looking to eventually making a short film. But for now I feel like need to also practice writing beside filming.

Great to hear! Yeah, you have a great start with a background in photography. Putting out a video this week about writing a script from nothing

I got several questions, but your video made me ask them, in a good way. Does finding the North Star have to always be in the 1st act? How much detail should a writer add for a treatment, outline, and script? Besides the four steps to make a character, what other ways/things can a writer do to make a character as fleshed out as possible like a living being? What is the most living-feeing character you’ve encountered in a story, and why, and what makes that character believably real?

@@CitizenHenry-tc1vn appreciate the questions! North Star definitely doesn’t have to be in the first act. Detail should increase as the length of the piece increases. Outline has least amount of detail and full script has more. Believability can also come from performance and dialogue.

Hey Jack, no budget filmmaker here, yk I never had any cultural background. It's difficult for me to come up with ideas. I lack creativity. I mean filmmaking makes voiceless have a voice but I can't seem to capture it. I have an eternal creative blockade. Can you make a video on this please.
