i feel like hearing extended chords like these and the 13ths that are contained within certain music are pretty difficult to identify.

Yes, I think because they are constructed with 6 notes it can be difficult to tell them apart from other chords.

I think you're right, but if you study, practice and use that kind of chords, eventually you will recognize those easilly. For experienced jazz players, the extended jazz chords are like the basic triads, is Just a matter of time and repitition. Im not an expert but i recomend to you to identify if a chord is Major or Minor firstly and then try to identify only 1 extension, with that information you can realize what kind of chord it can be without the need of taking apart every note in it

In a key of c major G is the dominant chord but you add F ( F/G) with G can you explain about F/G..

This was how Hookpad notated the chord. It contains the notes of F major ( F A C) and G is the lowest bass note so that might explain why.

It should be G11.

Never been a fan of the unaltered 11th above a major third, it gives the chord a nasty and unfocused sound. That being said, your examples seemed to my ear to be 9sus chords rather than true dominant 11ths. Love me some F/G because you’re replacing the third with the sus4 and get the very stable triad on top

I think you're correct about the 9sus4 being heard. I'll see if I can put a correction in the video.
