Thanks to your advice, I am making sure I have days off. I spent time with my parents during those days. :) we are separated the three of us, so it’s virtual time instead of in-person, but to me it’s still sacred time off that nothing will interrupt or take away.

I took this week off for a writing challenge and I haven't spent a minute writing thus far. I don't feel guilty about it. I've been sick off and on and there's been some other commitments that were unplanned when I scheduled the week off. It just means I'll be taking another week off in the next quarter that will be better planned. 😂 The only thing I've hated about this break is that I've been sick between headaches and sore throats, coughing and sneezing.
