it's different when you are learning in the classroom and learning by your own watching the video. there is no distraction here, while in the classroom there are lot thing that kills your focus. not trying to defend your teacher, but most people learn something much easier when they are 100% focus

@jordanadkins43624 жыл бұрын
I did the first problem with you (before doing any multiplication or addition; just thinking about the problem) and came up with the formula: 7+3(n-1) My reasoning is you're starting off with 7 and you want to add n multiples of 3 to it. Hence 7 + 3n, however the first term 3n must equal 0 when n is 1. Easiest way to do it? 3(n-1). The first term would be 7 + 3(1-1). The second term consequently falls into place as does the third and fourth. Now, rearranging 7 + 3(n-1), you get 7 + 3n - 3 and that my friends equals 4 + 3n. Shows you there are multiple ways of thinking and solving math problems.
@amirabayoumy88436 жыл бұрын
And to find the plus 4 3:14 you must find the 0 term value by substracting the first term value with the commun difference so 7 -3+=4 which equals 4 and so we need to make a algerbaric expression that works with the constant which is 4 and the coeficient which is 3 and make an algeabric expression by using a algeabric letter
@gamertruth199315 күн бұрын
nth term of an AP: a nth = a1 + (n-1)*d , where anth is nth term, a1 is first term, d is difference between two consecutive terms i.e a2-a1=a3-a2=a100-a99 etc...

@dhabecker10 жыл бұрын
***** Yes. The formula for 3, 9, 27, 81 is 3^x, which means "3 raised to the power of x". The first term is 3, the second term is (3)(3), the third term is (3)(3)(3), the fourth term is (3)(3)(3)(3), etc. To get the answer for the 10th term you would have to multiply ten 3's.

the sequene is called geometric progression. Here the common ratio between any two successive terms is same. for ex, 9/3=3; 27/9=3 and 81/27=3, so to find the nth term the rule is a(r)powered by (n-1); here r= common ratio , n is the required term a is the first term of the sequence

I learned this by doing-> The Nth term's #= 1st Term + (Nth term -1 x "reason") that would be An=A1+(n-1 x r). (r) Reason would be the number you're adding to continue the sequence. Ex as the one in the video: (7,10,13,16,19...). To find 100th term using An=A1+(n-1 x r) A100=7+(100-1 x 3) A100=7+ (99x3) A100=7+ 297= 304
