My name is Abbie Emmons I teach writers how to make their stories matter by harnessing the power and psychology of storytelling, transforming their ideas into a masterpiece, and creating a lifestyle that makes their author dreams come true.
Story isn’t about “what happens” - it’s about how what happens affects and transforms the characters. I believe that there is an exact science (a recipe, if you will) behind a perfect story. And if you know what ingredients you need, you can create your own perfect story with ease and confidence. I used to have a hard time forcusing on writing for more than 20 minutes and for that entire time I would only be focusing on doing it so I could be done, but now I comfortable focus for up to 2 hours! These things are amazing! Thank you so much Abbie!

Even though this music wasn't intended for this, this is the PERFECT writing sprint video for a report I'm writing on the Enigma Cipher. I'm trying to make it a sort of spy-theme, and this kind of music is setting such a mood for it. Thank you so much! :D

Thank you for making these writing videos Abbie! The forest that gets darker is my favorite! I hope you make another one of those! I am writing a few dark faery tale come to life in modern day screenplays so the darkening forest helps. I also have a shark horror screenplay and vampire horror screenplay I will be writing soon.... so dark mansions and boats on the water also are welcome. Thank you Abbie! 🙏🏻😱😈👽👾🧙‍♀️🦈

I have been really struggling with focus when working on individual scenes. Yesterday was the first time I tried one of these - the scene was in an interrogation room so it was a good fit. The time flew by and I got in 1500 words in two hours. These will definitely be added to my regular process. Thank you so much for the time and creativity it takes to make them, they truly help. 🌟

Loved this. Thank you so much. Will there ever be a cyberpunk/futuristic themed one of these? Cyberpunk can kinda tie into the crime scene thriller aspect, so that's why I'm bringing it up here. Not trying to be pushy.

Not gonna lie, this is the best crime scene ambience I know. I was listening to it for some time and then lost it. And it was extremely hard to find, because for some reason it didn't show up when you search for "Crime scene ambience". And I tried some other ambience videos, until I finally for this again. And it's just awesome. Thank you very much for creating this :) I only wish there were more ambience videos from you, because they are truly great

The first chapter explains how the main female character goes blind. Then ends with how her and her parent die in a car crash. Second chapter begins with blood dripping onto the necklace. It activates and time rewinds. I go into all the details about it. Then Danielle gets onto a plane. Awhile later after takeoff a military plane near them implodes. A time vortex opens and starts to pull on the plane Danielle is in. A female being inside the necklace forms a protective barrier around the plane, so it goes into the wormhole without breaking into a thousand pieces. (I will end it there) Finished writing the first three chapters. And outlined the rest of it. Looks to be about 36 chapters for book 1.

Good afternoon, Abbie and thank you for the video post. To be honest, I think we're on the same wavelength or there's possibly chemistry there as if we were in synced because I thought of story to write which pretty much involves a crime that was committed. I started writing it last night and this would be the perfect background music to picture with how the story unfolds. Enjoy the rest pf your day and thanks again.
