Not too young to remember the phone book! I’m 40 next month but love the way you write about being in your 40s as I cheekily thought life ended at 40 so thank you ❤

Really appreciate these vids, thanks so much 🙏 I tried watching this week live but I kept getting distracted reading comments (I've a dreadful attention span!) 😃 that's why I'm grateful you post them here also 😊

I gave up all things writing following a brain surgery. Listening to your wonderful workshops has really-invigorated my writing passion - a humble but massive thank you. Really, thanks. Rae Flather

It is so refreshing to hear an adult talk about writing without trying to pontificate or insisted they know everything already. Thanks for being a real enough person to drop all the "fecks" in your helpful words. :)

You’ve given me so much motivation to write Marian. I love your gentle approach and I’ll remember to be easier on myself. I have started practicing my writing skills but so far everything is sounding generic and cheesy. Hopefully, I will improve the more I practice. Lots of love to you ! X

you are such a nice and funny person to listen to, thank you for your lessons, I'm listening from Denmark (allways the day after so that I can stop the video and search for words on google translate) ;-)

Many books I know don’t really mention a year but you just can see it’s in the modern day. A good idea I think. I do this with my stories.

I've been ignoring covid in my writing because the whole thing bores me and I have no interest in writing about it. I just think of my stuff as being set in an alternate universe where there's no covid.
