Thank you very much. But this video has one error at the start of the video it says the vertice of maJor axis on the vertical parabola is (0,plus or minus B) instead it should say(0,plus or minus A). And for the minor axis it says(plus or minus A,0) instead it should say (plus or minus b,0)

At 3:10, shouldn't the major vertices for the ellipse on the right be (0, plus or minus a) and the minor vertices (plus or minus b, 0)?

Great video. I did find the convention of a>b and switching a and b around for "vertical" elipses rather counterintuitive though. Why not keep a and b where they are and determine if the foci are on the x or y axis by whether a > b or a < b?
