the best thing about +tyler Dewitt's videos is that he is explaining himself on the upper right corner and using drawn diagrams on the other side which makes it easier for the viewer to understand . the other thing is that he uses easier things first and THEN goes to the difficult things . An easy way to do it for me is to just criss cross the charges. Super simple.

+Jen L NOO!!!! DON'T DO IT THAT WAY!!! I hate that method and I don't talk about it here, because so many teachers tell their students to do it, but then the students have NO IDEA what they're doing. The point here is that you need the charges to balance: for example, you need two (2) Na+ to balance out one (1) O 2-. So if you understand how that works, then yeah you can use the criss-cross method, but PLEASE make sure that you understand how these charges balance out.
