I was watching the video, and in the video was talking about subjective and objective on Traci. The first example was on subjective putting in feelings. However, the second example objective. I read Traci "Smiled' wouldn't that be subjective? how do you know she smiled? In my opinion wouldn't it be "seemed to smile"? or describe the facial expression, Traci then stretched her lips using facial muscle to move slightly upwards, showing her teeth, as her eye's squinted. Because what if Traci was just passing gas?

You have a very good point. Typically you can observe a smile on a child's face but you could also physically describe it like you did. Thanks for your question.
