My gran and mother saved everything. When I read the letters from those that have passed it is like you are getting to know the person and the way they think. It is so interesting. It is also so valuable to see how people lived. I am worried we will not have that now. Having said that there is so much more easy communication with e mail and social media. I guess I just love any communication and sharing of information. Those letters and pictures are so valuable for the genealogy websites. Can you chat about what one says in a polite conversation, for instance meeting the neighbor walking, what to include, how long, how to end it. The goal of not being too long in the conversation or too abrupt. You had mentioned the Royals were very good at doing this while being polite if they have another event to attend.
