Good evening, Ms. James. Please take your student advice. I absolutely agree with him 100%. You should have your mnemonic device for transition words copyrighted. If not, I really think it will be picked up by an educational company that may beat you to it. One of my university professors marked my essay down for using "However," at the beginning of a sentence. I would have sent him a link to this video if KZbin had existed back then! 😉 I didn't know the semicolon rule; therefore, I also learned something new!

The prefessor was right if you were mark down even though it's unnecessary. The emphasis usually is on the first word, especially if it's at the beginning of a paragraph. Insteat of: I therfore agree with. ... It's better to be something like: I therefore agree with.... In this case the emphasis is on I
