Who Should Self-publish a Book?

The AI is getting quite good, but a tool is only as good as someone's skills. Whether for outlines, the art, and feedback, to include apps like ProWriting Aid, etc. I read a lot of Kindle Unlimited and other books that happne to be inexpensive and I didn't really let covers bother me unless they were considerably bad. Then there's making sure you have copywrite proof (publshing bits online and getting that recorded in case someone hijackes your writings). Gleening a lot from a lot of channels. Thanks.
