“The Homecoming” is amazing. I saw “The Birthday Party” off-Broadway and loved it, but for some reason can’t deal with the movie version.

Two corrections. The Butley film was only directed not written by Pinter, the play it was based on was written by Simon Gray. Also Accident was made in 1967 not 1957.
