Oh guys. This video made me cry because I’m really really homesick for Redding. I have very many close friends who live there even though I live in Canada and I haven’t been there for a couple of years. Little titbit about the bridge. A local Bible school sends some students in harnesses under the bridge to give it a good scrubbing every year. it is a part of their community service program You’re right it is sun damage to the glass but the bridge is sturdy and in excellent structural condition. You were safe.

There are a couple of glass bridges in San Francisco. One was over a BART station and one was across the street. I walked several blocks out of my way and all the way across the street. I could not walk on either bridge. I wasn't exactly panic but it was close. I gave up trying. I still don't understand why it had that effect on me. Hi Guys, I've been with you both for years & years, in fact I was trying to remember when I first started following ya all, it was before your Accident with your first truck Camper, but I can't remember when the first time was...guess it doesn't matter.. I'm still in Zeeland Michigan, was hoping that ya all would head back over this way........ Still would love to make a dinner for ya all.... Maybe one day.... I so enjoy going on trips with ya all... & Scottie We used to have a Cabin up in Red Feather Lakes Colo. the Elevation there is 8,245 ft there are still Rattle Snakes up there lurking about... they always travel in pairs, so if you see one keep your head on a swivel, because there is always a second one or more.. Let Terri know that I'm not so sure that I could do the bridge either, I walked the Mackinac Bridge it is 26,372 ft. in length, or 4.995 miles {Almost 5 miles of walking } from one end to the other & that bridge swayed back & forth as we were walking over it....it is the 27th longest main span and is the longest suspension bridge between anchorages in the Western Hemisphere & there are no port-a-potties along the way... I had 3 little girls that walked with me... {My daughters & my Ex-Husband} Praise God he's my EX!!!!!!! Anyway I don't think that you'd like doing that walk either, they only allow it on Labor Day in Sept..... I haven't heard ya all talk about Jay in awhile is he still around? Take Care My Friends.... Love Ya Both! Adele Somewhere in West Michigan 4:10 PM EST 6/17/24......

From all of the photos and videos I've seen of Lassen, Shasta Lake, and the Mountain..... it would be well worth putting on your list of future places to visit. Just so that you guys are aware, there is a rattlesnake to be found in northern CA, Oregon, and eastern Washington State-- it's called the "Northern Pacific Rattlesnake." They're found in all kinds of terrain and climate, from the deserts to the prairie grasslands, to the rocky ridges in the foothills, and in mountain meadows and forests. (I only know this because I am in the same camp as Terri. I know they do good, but leave me out of it). Agoraphobia? Absolutely knowing the damned thing is going to collapse, or that I will slip over the edge if I'm next to the railing? Yup yup What were the butterflies made of? Metal? Gorgeous.

Fear on that bridge… perfectly normal. If it’s not a real “normal” feeling for you, maybe something very real and very scary has happened and you buried it. It now comes out to rule your response to things you otherwise wouldn’t be _that_ afraid of. I’m only guessing, mind you, because something similar happened to me. Now I seem a tad bit afraid of anything out of the ordinary. (Sometimes a big “tad”!) 😅
