Well, he got one thing right, the mainstream media did portray this election was a nail biter when it really was anything but. His mistake - he just named the wrong candidate. It was not a Romney landslide, but an Obama landslide. But Dick is wrong about one more thing, he is in fact dumber than the average guy on the street.

I live in Michigan and have for 30+ years. It's where "Mittens" was born and raised. He lived here through high-school. Mittens lost his home state where his father, George Wilcken Romney was Governor in the 1960s and his still regarded as one of the best Gov. in the history of the state. The sitting Governor's office is in the George W. Romney building. He's widely regarded a a hero by many, and a great admirer of Martin Luther King Jr. You'd think that that would've given Mittens some serious family coattails to help win the state.big. But everything he did during the entire campaign from not stopping the racist comments throughout, to blasting the United Auto Workers by saying "Detroit should go Bankrupt, so that the big three can be bought by private parties, lower wages to maximize their profits.", to the 47% comments, all ended his chances early.

One of the most important things I've learned studying politics is that you NEVER EVER make a definitive statement or a prediction no matter how good the odds might be. You make an educated guess and explain how you got there but mention that outliers do occur that can manipulate the results.

C'mon we all know why he was wrong. It was because he was paid an incredible amount of money to make those crazy predictions, despite overwhelming polling evidence to the contrary. It was a last desperate attempt by the conservative right to turn the tide, and they needed a fall guy - who they would pay handsomely - to say these things as genuinely as possible. Dick Morris was quite happy to do so and was laughing all the way to the bank, thank you very much folks!

Other wise he would be on the unemployment line, filing for food stamps, and enrolig in Obamacare. Come to think of it, this might not be such a bad thing for Dick. its obama who attracted all these voters, not democratic principles. obama appealed to young people because he's considered young and hip. women voted for him in large numbers because he's sexy and they feel he'll protect their procreative rights, and minorities voted for him because he's their color. its all very basic. now imagine john kerry was running instead of obama, in 04 kerry didnt have blacks &latinos, didnt have women and certainly didnt have young voters. im pretty scared about 2016.

It wasn't that unreasonable, the votes in PA, OH, FL, and NH were extremely close and in VA. The only unreasonable pick I think Morris made was Minnesota. With the shape of the economy and the Benghazi scandal in September it should have been a landslide for Romney one would think.
