@@gerk7238 Yes, the celebrity scientist (who's paid to push a narrative) is not automatically right just because he's a scientist. 🤣 Also, you're deliberately mischaracterizing Arthur here, as he's not trying to flatter anyone. He made a vague statement and didn't even name any names. It's obvious that YOU are presuming Neil to be, and recognizing Neil as, "the idiot working like mad to make you think he's right." Once again, it was a vague statement, no names mentioned, you filled in the blanks yourself. If you didn't think that to be true, you may have said, "I know, it's amazing how much of a true man and how humble Neil is in his knowledge, and that Patrick is like a con artist with his logical fallacies. Why the hell is he trying to convince us so hard? What does he have to gain? Does he really care about people that much, he's gotta convince us "for our own good," because we're just too dumb to understand. We all know that's not true at this point though. Thanks for confirming it. 👍

@@gerk7238 well the scientist (astrophysicist) repeatedly claimed that it blocked transmission (get the shot to protect others), which is demonstrably false. So you’re choosing to believe the scientist because he’s a scientist (in a completely different field), regardless of the fallacies he’s spewing, yet WE are the sycophants??? This quote is more true than might seem at first glance. I happened to be at a workplace where I encountered some people who were like this and after a long time of being provoked, I snapped, got dragged down to their level and yeah, they then beat me with experience because the behavior they displayed in an attempt to win, I honestly find it still hard to believe adults are capable such absurd and embarrassingly stupid, non-sensicel and brash behavior to get their way. Like really, this quote is an interesting food for thought, but if you're forced to actually experience every word of it. Few things in life are as soul crushing as this. Oh and I might add my own variation from this experience - "Never let stupid people know you're smarter than them, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience."

The problem is that we were sold that science had an answer for this. They did not. That virus circled the globes many times and got more virulent as it went. His entire premise we had some miracle shot to save us is inaccurate to begin with. Failed shots and standing 6 feet apart with paper masks had little to no bearing on our protection from this virus. Maybe they should have made an actual antigen RNA virus instead of trying to be cute with some experimental attempt.

We don't know if there is a link between the vaccines and those deaths, i mean, so much things were different in these last years, who knows... In a lot of countries where the public health is not as good as in US or Europe for instance, died many young people. @@wexpmedia5889 Listen here buffoon. When the “scientists” involved have a vested interest in not verifying causation, whether it is simply money, ego investment, or whether they’re being threatened by their superiors, then we are forced to draw our own conclusions anecdotally. When a teenager dies of heart failure in bed 72 hours after vaccination, and it is a foregone conclusion 100/100 times that the vaccine had “no connection”, then we will use Ockham’s Razor, with or without your permission. Correlation does not equal causation is your go to and the go to of VAERS so as to maintain plausible deniability for every single death.

The shaky hands is because he's weak mentally and physically and he's being flooded with adrenaline in an argument. This happens to everyone. @ShaneLester.
@ShaneLester. 2 жыл бұрын
@@mrrooster4876 I can agree this happens and understand that. But i've watched him since I was a teenager. Part of why he was so appealing and interesting is because he was seemingly able to handle debate and conversation with pure comfortability and confidence. Which, obviously, makes him seem honest and strict to his values based on science. So, it starts to seem odd when i see him almost buckling to pressure about something. Especially, when the person talking to him wasn't being aggressively confrontational. He was just asking questions that a lot of us would probably like to ask. Also, it wasn't just his hands that make me suspicious of his behavior. His actions as a whole, another example, he was looking at someone off to the side a lot when he was talking, which throws me off. I don't mean to convince anyone not to trust him or think anything. I don't disagree with everything he said. I don't have to trust him, to read into what information he might give me. I don't just automatically assume any of the things I see, hear or even think about the past couple of years are true. We live in a time where it's very hard to know what is true. Maybe it's always been like that, but I can only refer to the time period i'm living in. And throughout my life, it seems to have gotten harder and harder to distinguish reality from propaganda and deception from our media, entertainment and leaders. Or just the confusion we all help create in our own society. I hope to find out i've went insane and Niel Degrasse Tyson is that trustworthy scientist who cares so much about the truth of the universe, he devoted his entire life to it. But his aggression toward the notion of even questioning these things is very suspicious. Especially when a scientist is supposed to question everything.

So, help me understand why an argument that a person could be “forced” to take the vaccine to prevent that person from catching Covid and infecting others. Well if those “others” have a vaccine that was sold as safe and effective, why worry about someone unvaccinated giving them Covid? I know many vaccinated people who have not only caught Covid but caught it multiple times even after the boosters. Kids were required to be vaccinated in order to go to school when there is overwhelming evidence that vaccine adverse events far exceed any value to kids. For a “scientist” this DeGrasse character seems very unscientific.

And then they thought up many many excuses to not do the responsible thing. Some of them died, some of them caused the death of family members, but all of them exacerbated the damage to the economy and their countrymen. Their personal responsibility was less important than their fear of a little sting and the one in 10,000 to 100,000 chance of a really bad side effect. @@mcleananderson4948 Its one thing to maybe catch COVID and suffer the risks, and being forced to take a vaccine several times annually. And on top of that, you still get COVID. So whats the point? The first variant was survived by 99.98% of under 65. Just doing the maths should tell you that you have a higher risk suffering from multiple doses annualy from a vaccine which uses technology never used for vaccines (and btw, Moderna themselves said before COVID happend, that an mRNA vaccine will never get through phase 3 trials, they said so themselves, so how convenien9t is an emergency use authorization?) Then there is the whole knowledge we had before the pandemic that it is a bad idea to mass vaccinate in the middle of a pandemic. And dont forget about how much they try to suppress information about working early treatments. Because if a medication is availlable that has tons more data through decades of research about side effects, and it happens to bring down hospitalization rates, then there is a clause in the emergency use authorization which says that the authorization is gone. There has been medication that lead to far lower amount of adverse side effects which was taken from the market and the pharma companies fined for their wrong doings. And another point: You dont censor and deplatform doctors, viruologists, scientists etc... who are critical of the government and its institutions. You hear them out publicly and debate and discuss with them their reasoning to find the truth. Instead we are listening solely to the FDA, in which there are working a lot of ex-Pfizer employees. Talk about conflict of interest!

@@mcleananderson4948 I think there is a large cohort that is left out of this discussion. ItJm's a group that I happen to fall into: people who had contracted covid early in the pandemic, pre-vaccine rollout. Having already contracted covid, when asked if I was going to take the vaccine, I told them no, I've already had the disease. "But you don't know how long the immunity lasts!!", is the response I would always hear, which is true. But those who deploy such an argument, buy the other side of the same argument: you don't know how long the jab-immunity lasts. It didn't make sense to take more risk of damaging my health. According to Pfizer's own RCT, 1 in 800 suffered an injury in the first two months (effects not tracked longer than two months). For context, all other vaccines we use are on average about 1 in 1,000,000. There was a swine flu vaccine released in '76, but after testing and seeing that 1 in 100,000 were injured, the product was pulled because it's too harmful to the recipients.

There hasn't been such a distrubition of wealth to a small amount of people since WW1. The vaccines didn't even stop transmission and we are still yet to get a full unbiased investigation on the origins. Quite funny how China and the WHO had a strong relationship at the time and no one even went to Wuhan until over a year after the outbreak. The amount finacial damage the lockdowns did to small businesses and families will take decades to recover from. Most countries are now in debt and the damage to the social intregity of communities with division and skepitism will create even greater problems. The reason why the COVID 19 vaccine did not require a lengthy research period is because the foundational studies on mRNA technology had begun around 1989, and by 2001, human clinical trials on humans for cancer vaccines were underway. Their beliefs are literally so deeply ingrained in their brain that the brain will NOT allow them to see truth or another view , even if you show them tons of evidence to the contrary because the human brain will NOT allow them to realize they were wrong about their staunchly held beliefs.

If a person is extremely passionate on an issue, it's sometimes better not to engage them at all. Or stop the debate, regroup and come back later. But if one does choose to engage, one should focus on dealing with the foundation of the other persons argument. In other words their REASONS that supports their claims. Not the conclusions they are making or defending. Conclusions are not necessarily facts or evidence. I also like the work Suzette Hayden Elgin. She has audios I found online that are helpful.

If your a sheep who takes everything from the "Experts" at face value your probably going to believe that the vaccine works. If your someone like us who puts the "Experts" into question because we understand they are not an objective source of information, then your going to be questioning everything they tell you. Data is testimonial evidence, which means we read it under the assumption that the "experts" are being honest, not being paid off, not politically motivated, actually conducted the study, actually used the proper method of research, and that their method of research objectively tells us anything about the world.

According to The 14th Amendment of the constitution the federal government cannot make mandatory vaccine laws. This is also reinforced in part by our “Pledge of Allegiance”. Furthermore, according to the US Constitution, the primary responsibility for one's own health lies with the individual. Therefore, it is up to the individual to determine what level they want to go to protect themselves from covid and should never rely on another individual in any way shape or form. You, and you alone are responsible for your own safety no matter what that is or where you go. Not me, not anyone else. If you don't wanna get COVID, then double mask it, wear a moon suit, or put on a full scuba diving outfit, whatever it takes. That is your responsibility not mine. End of argument!

I believe the fact that most of the people dying of COVID are elderly and had multiple co-morbidities should've been brought up, for a period of time the average person dying of covid's age exceeded the average life expectancy. Me and my brother who are both teenagers got COVID more than once and it was about as severe as a mild cold, I'll take a mild cold over a very small chance of dying of sudden heart failure.

@toddhouck9041 but this is all based on silly misinformation. I was an essential worker and had to work even though it was too dangerous. I didn't get vaccinated. A lot of my coworkers did. I saw the vaccinated co workers all get sick and get covid and various points after. I havent had a flu in years despite being surrounded by hundreds of people over the course of a week. Again while everyone was at home I was surrounded by hundreds of people everyday. Never got sick once but all the vaccinated people did. So you don't exactly understand how things work is the problem. I saw things with my own eyes that contradicted what we're being told. Also none of us got close to dying despite being surround by thousands of people over the course of the year. The news made it seem way worse than it was.

No that's not true at all. He's saying, its an easy choice. Look at the numbers. a few thousand are at risk, a few million can be saved. 1 versus 1 million. The decision is easy. And it is just that simple. The people arguing against the vaccine are ignoring the numbers. They're backing the small number with the side effects, as a reason to avoid it and ignoring the vast number of people with no issues. There is not one thing in this world that comes without risk. cars (car accidents) alcohol (alcohol poisoning), etc. You weigh the risk vs the advantage it provides. And all the numbers and records and history show that vaccines save more people by far, then those who don't use them.
