Allie Beth, my husband used to work facilities for a large city and then the public schools. We learned SO much about how the public sector spends tax payer dollars. It would NOT be hard to cut the fat and balance budgets if someone had the political will to do so. My husband wrote a sample budget for the public school that was simply changing vendors of paper products and cleaning supplies and it would have saved them a million dollars per year. They had just gotten done laying teachers off and it would have saved a bunch of teachers jobs if they had implemented it. Of course bureaucracy stands in the way of efficiency and this didn’t happen I hope Elon Musk can get in and implement this type of stuff because it would not be hard to find ways to trim budgets of government facilities that can seriously lessen the tax burden to the public…

Allie. Does not take a expert economist. I am a Trump voter. However. So tired of the middle class whining... I get it. One looks at their paycheck. And sees so much taken out.. However. Have to look at income... My middle class family member. Complaining of taxes and blaming the poor He however, got two significant cost of living raises. Along with a shorter work week. He gets paid for 40 hrs. But now only works 3 days a week. So have to be real.... Yeah. Maybe as middle class you have to pay more in groceries. But you have had wage increase. Along with deductions... Maybe instead of 3 family vacations and that new vacation home. But you can still buy meat. Still send kids to college It's a trick. Disinformation Alert re: Tariffs. Walmart imports from China a spatula , Trump tariff adds 25% tariff which is paid by the importer in this case Walmart. $10 spatula x 25% = $12.50 The $2.50 tax/tariff is passed onto the American consumer as the item now costs Walmart more - the US Government collects that tariff from Walmart not China. Was this disinformation done so on purpose? If so, how disappointing but not exactly unexpected from Trump supporters in general.

Now the $12.75 spatula MADE IN AMERICA is more competitive, so purchased more, and the AMERICAN workers at the American company get paid, and pay taxes on those earnings, thus reducing the need for taxing the spatula purchasers. America First - what a concept!
