Really great to have John Doran on the receiving end of an interview for a change. Such an interesting guy. Thanks for this x

Always thought you were an amazing interviewer and personality John, your music knowledge and appreciation for everything music is really refreshing and I admire it a lot, I have watched your British Masters with Mark E Smith about 300 times haha, I miss the miserable old bugger! Greetings from Manchester, I hope you are doing well!

Beginning to end, brilliant. The Blackcat Jolly lad event, with added Kjetil, was a great afternoon. Thank you to John and Luke for The Quietus, I've discovered so much amazing music through the site. And another thank you to John for talking and writing about the fascist attitudes of some musicians and bands, it needs to be exposed more openly. Hope you get to do that walk John.

Bloody hell, I came here from the British Masters on Noisey and didn't recognise Doran. He's aged a lot and clearly the accident and covid have taken its toll. Hope the change of scene is good for him in the long term. Loved the British Masters.

Saw Omar Souleyman in Melbourne in 2015 (at a guess) with Dan from Wild Animals who may watch this channel. He played to a 3/4 sold out room of 800 cap or so and it was a great show.

Some coffee and scones at Polly's Tea Rooms followed by a visit to West Kennet Long Barrow afterwards? Sounds like my kind of afternoon!
