You’re very observant, yes the government is expanding roads, cleaning rivers and building new walking pavements, 🚲 roads and all to be done and being completed in 3 months before rainy season. True Timo no liter in Ethiopia unlike Nairobi where we find plastic papers hanging all over, water bottles, maize comb, banana peels, and pieces of clothes

The city seems to be gentrifying very fast. The government has torn down alot of old slums/settlements in the past few years especially closer to Bole and sent the residents to live in lower cost condominium projects (or they leave town). You should try riding their light metro train next time and visit the Oromo Cultural Center near Meskel Square.
