100% agree about the Sherman build quality. When I'm bored sometimes I'll pull up a seat by the Sherman and admire what an amazing wheel it is! The power delivery is super linear so it feels like it wants to just take off know matter what speed I'm going!

Lol if I may rant for a moment as a mechanic; You sir, need to treat screws better! They are tiny marvels of engineering meant to hold things together, not to go in and out all willy-nilly and you’re heavily abusing fine threads with a drill (not a screwdriver) then complaining when they fail, then badmouthing self-tapping (or plastic) screws which can be just as strong as metal when used properly. Each time you remove a screw threaded into plastic, if you don’t "find" the original thread, it’s basically ruined and won’t be strong anymore. Treat fasteners with respect if you expect them to keep literally everything together. Ok done with rant, keep up with great content! 😁💚

Merry Christmas - like how your tools start with the hammer. 560uF 560 Micro Farad, u representing 1 millionth of a Farad. A Farad being the unit of capacitance (I have seen a 1 Farad Capacitor but it was huge, not very practical). Capacitors store charge, large ones are predominately used for smoothing DC supplies, but they can be used with coils for tuned circuits, to block DC, or for Power Correction in AC circuits among other things. Capacitors can give back their energy far quicker than a battery and at these voltages can be potentially dangerous which is why it was wise to turn the machine on at the beginning of your tear down. Capacitors can be of different types, larger ones such as yours here are electrolytic. This means it matters which way around they are connected (wrong way, bang). They will also be marked with a maximum working voltage. Capacitors are passive components (meaning they do not need to be powered to operate) like resistors, inductor's (coils), etc. Active components like the FETS in your EUC are a bit more complicated, but for another time.

Nice to see these from the inside. I have an MSX, and haven't needed to open it yet. I'll save this for when I do. I said this before, but I hope Veteran makes a smaller wheel, for when I'm ready for my next purchase. The sherman is too big for my purposes.

@15:10 A tip is to lubricate the shafts with MoS2 fat (NOT on Nylonove pedals though) making sure you do not get fat on the lock screw threads (instead put loctite on lock screws, blue loctite is perfect) 1) Makes removal a lot easier 2)Decrease wear on shaft 3) Keeps pedal swiveling/folding easy over time

μ it's "mi" from micro, so together with "F" it is microfarads. Capacitance of capacitors.

Camera moves good, hudge progress in quality and close up (zoom).😎 👍🏻 🎄🎁 I wish you good health and a beautiful healthy little newborn girl with Adam's eyes in 2021. Awesome video! I would love to know how the center of mass affects the riding, what materials could the shell be made of (glass fiber, carbon fiber, some plastic or resin, metal, polyamide, nylon...), all this stuff. I'm thinking what if they used something like a smartphone speaker grill to allow air circulation but not water in? Those grills can keep water out just with its surface tension. How much water pressure could it withstand.

Very interesting and useful your videos! Love them! I wonder if you get any unofficial news of upcoming new models from Begode, or the producer of the Veteran. Not thinking about a revolutionary wheel, but a significant improvement on reliability and overall improvement in building quality. Any concrete news? Thanks

Well done Adam for having the confidence to open each of your one wheels up without fear of voiding any warranty all whilst showing the viewers what the quality of each arrangement is. Do you anticipate one day doing the same with say the 5 most popular escooters in 2021?! It would be nice to know the exact cell used from the respective manufacturer, I heard the Sanyo GA (3500MAH) for the 2nd scooter but not the others here. Thumbs up.

8:45-9:10 this is horrible design decision. by having 3 packs in parallel instead of having 1 pack with many parallel cells, you reduce redundancy in the whole system. if any one of the packs fail you lose 1/3 of your energy and power output, which could cause a lot of stress on the other 2 packs causing them both to fail.
