I wouldn't generalise. SOME Romanians love Latino, and that's not really what characterizes the energy of this people. Dora's song was more like to what characterizes the energy and the spirit of the Romanians. Especially since it was the first favorite of the public and it was performed in Romanian.

From the first moment I've heard it, it got stuck in my head. It feels so nostalgic, not really dated. If dated, then it's in a good way. I adore this song, they upgraded the performance so much, it really grabs your attention. Also, some people are saying he can't sing.. obviously he can and knows how to, it's his uniqueness. I can compare his voice to Conan Osiris, somehow lazy but so effective. I hope people are gonna vote for it in May. I will! 🇭🇷 🇷🇴

We, spaniards, are to blame for this one. Romania is one of our favourite 12 pointers, and we are SO buying this one, I'm sure. And yes, we call "bebé" to our boyfriends. He knows so well. And Spanish Eurovision entry in 1962 was "Llámame" by Victor Balaguer. (Pronounced 'Djā_ma:_ mE)

I don't know what it is, but this was my favorite Romanian entry this year directly from the start! So I'm very happy he won! Yes, it looks and sounds cheap and dated. It sounds like a song from 15 years ago. But that's exactly what I like about this. It's catchy, fun and nostalgic. I love the dance moves and the energy! I hope he will improve his vocals though, and the staging is a bit messy, but they still have plenty of time to fix this!

He has done a Ricky Martin/Pablo Alborán in his music videos so far, love stories for/with women, but if you look at the lirycs, and take into consideration the performance done in a country that still has some pretty happy-fobic tendencies, you can call this his Coming Out Song: "Knew that I was different than the others They never liked you Try to keep my head above the water But you're makin' it so hard to [Pre-Chorus] What if they're gonna find out? Nobody's gonna like it We get away Need you to stay" It's a pretty big step for Romania, a very religious/conservative country that he has massive support from the public.

How many songs weren't cheap, cliche or repetitive in Eurovision? Even this year. I think this is the recipe in the recent years to be liked by the others :). Moreover, lot of pointing out on the vocals, while we have so many songs with poor vocals lol or songs that require no outstanding vocals.

I don‘t think it‘s neither cheap nor dated this is actually winner material, I think people love this a lot but they look for excuses to distance themselves from liking it, bcs it‘s a Romanian entry. It is seen as a guilty pleasure bcs it doesn‘t follow the musical schemes of the UK or German or French pop market. Songs from those countries are there to have a meaning with lyrics that support that, a music video that gives a narrative. This right here doesn’t have non of that. I doesn’t need and doesn’t want to. It captures the essence of life, the moment, the fun, the pleasure. It makes you dream for 3 minutes. As I said a lot of people don‘t want to like this but they will. And I expect a great result bcs it’s great performance. Well done Romania, top 5 for sure

It is not cheap, it is hit. When we sent the best voices singing masterpieces you didn't like it. So here we are. A professional dancer with very nice voice but not much experience on the field, who also write songs in a modern not classic way. With so much influences it is hard do not like the song. And by the way, it is not easy at all to make such a good simple song with so many influences. For the masterpiece check romanian no 2 eurovision also the romanian public favorite for the eurovision, this song was the second romanian public favorite. The jury vote decided this song must be sent and did it very well. Eurovison is about hit and about show. You are not tired of so many sad songs ?! A catchy one will do good i guess. For all of us. It is time to change the mood for a break. In music too.

Just a small (big) thing to say here: it's kind of disrespectful to continously use "cheap" as a way to describe the song/performance; is TVR a very cheap national broadcaster that always messed things up? Absolutely. But most people tend to confuse this with the artist as an entity, and it's kind of wrong to say it's cheap. This is important due to your platform and following and we wouldn't want unnecessary bullying towards our representative. Btw, wrs is an artist from Global Records, the same label that supported Roxen. He's got all the potential and support he could ever need. Also, *please* listen to his other songs, and you will see why he couldn't ever be cheap. Finally, Deban, his name comes from his last name: wrs = urs -> Andrei Ursu (his real name) Cheers 🥳🇷🇴

He still needs to work on a few stuff, like make the moves more tight. But i love it!!! And YES Deban!!! The beat needs a bit of a revamp because it sounded too low/soft. The staging is a copy->paste for me!!! The dancers do need and deserve better quality outfits. Basically this is a diamond in the rough. I hope he can fix it all in time

At first I was not convinced that this song it will make it to the final for Eurovision 2022 because it has spanish themes music and dance,I mean I love the song it is our romanian style to create bomb songs and then become no.1 overseas but I just thought it is not the right song for Eurovision, and recently I've been watching at the positive reactions from many youtubers and I am happy, but what makes me more happy is the good reaction of spanish people, they love it, it is a catchy sexy song 💃😋 and we are latinos as well. I just hope we will win, I am not 100% sure about that because this year many countries have very good songs but the hope is there 🤞 ❤

Loved this review, but let me tell you guys that in order to pronounce "Llámame" right, you better try the sound of "Y" at the beginning. Try saying "Yámame", cause you are saying "Lámame" and it sounds like "leak me" in Spanish ("lámeme") :)
