I never get tired of watching interviews with Bill Eadie, because he's so insightful and so fair-minded and he actually thinks about answering the questions. Plus, I've never heard anybody say anything but positive stuff about him, so that means he's well respected

One thing I respect too is he doesn’t just make up being somewhere he wasn’t. So many people have said they saw the bulldogs and rougeaus brawl and most of them probably didn’t actually witness it

I truly enjoyed Bill Eadie so much growing as a young man. Wrestling as the Masked Superstar was my favorite. He always stated how he was a former Olympian Champion and was a pain in the rear for Wrestling 2, Tony Atlas, Tommy Rich, and so on. He had an incredible physique and was the first wrestler to perform the, “Super-plex” off the top rope.

Not my fave, but definitely one l enjoyed watching. Strangely, I never saw them as an LOD knockoff back in the day, and never heard anyone say it until the internet came along. Regardless, they were far superior in the ring than LOD, and I loved their double team double-axe handle with both guys stomping the ring at the same time. They were definitely one of the best in the best era of tag team wrestling.

Eadie will always be the Masked Superstar to me. I liked him even though he was a heel when I first started watching. He usually fought a clean match and he was great in his promos. I got to see him wrestle in person a few times when he turned face and teamed with Paul Jones . Great matches.

He’s just careful not to speak on something he didn’t actually see, and is also careful not to say anything too bad about anyone. Most wrestlers are just the opposite on both of those, and make his answers seem boring.

In the early/mid 80s, the only guys that could routinely hang with Flair were Andre and Harley. Lots of guys could drink but Flair was shutting down the bars 6-7 nights a week for years at a time. He needs to leave his liver to science because that thing is a miracle.

Considering he was a feared heel who was able to be brought in for a special event like Brody, Abdullah, or Hansen while under a mask with the generic name, The Masked Superstar, there was obviously something interesting about him. I can remember being in the 3rd grade speculating on whether or not he escaped from prison, a mental hospital or if he was a bank robber. Either way, the Masked Superstar could sell out any building in America for a world title match.
