"How to Continue Complaining About the Economy Disparity" 1. Continue shopping like there's a shortage of consumer goods. 2. Keep eating like there's an eminent famine. 3. Apply for more credit cards. Don't worry about your current rising credit card balances. 4. Complain to your co-workers about that new hire or temp worker. 5. Repeat what you said in #4 to your spouse, children, and neighbors. 6. Keep looking for reasons why others have this or that and you don't.

Hate to break it to you, but Romeny is a job creator. He help founded and lead Bain Capital which is a private equity firm. According to the WSJ, under Mitt Romeny, Bain Capital had a 78% success rate in creating and reviving struggling businesses. Look at Staples, Sports Authority, Dominoes, Sealy Mattress, GOODY's, ICON Health and Fitness, ect, all of whom were under Bain. The fact of the matter is that Mitt Romeny played an instrumental role creating jobs and business in the private sector.

In the case of Dade Behring, Mitt Romney and his investors took over a healthy company and loaded it with debt. Rather than sell the company, they then had Dade take out even more loans to buy out their shares, driving the company into bankruptcy. Nearly 3,000 workers lost their jobs, while Romney and his partners made more than $250 million in profit.

"Drinking the Kool-Aid" is a metaphor commonly used in the United States and Canada that refers to a person or group's unquestioning belief, argument, or philosophy without critical examination. The basis of the term is a reference to the November 1978 Rev. Jim Jones Jonestown Massacre,where members of the Peoples Temple were said to have committed suicide by drinking Flavor Aid (not actually Kool-Aid) drink laced with cyanide.

8 minutes 30 seconds is Mitt Romneys plan for the economy. Lower the taxes on the middles class. Create more entry jobs in energy and other trades. Then helping small businesses. By creating more jobs the unemployment rate gos down which means more people will have jobs and more people will be paying taxes at a lower percent.

Kansas City’s GST Steel was a successful company that had been making steel rods for 105 years when Mitt Romney and his partners took control in 1993. They cut corners and extracted profit from the business at every turn, placing it deeply in debt. When the company eventually declared bankruptcy, workers were denied their full pensions and health insurance, and the federal government stepped in to bail out the pension fund. Romney made a profit at the expense of all tax payers.

I’m not anti-capitalistic. I’d have to be pretty dumb to be completely anti-capitalistic considering that I have a bachelor’s degree in business and economics. The laws of supply and demand (the invisible hand of the market) are far more efficient than government in providing price-competitive goods because they usually self-regulate and eliminate most forms of bureaucratic waste. But there are rare cases when the public sector can provide a better product, which is what I’ve been explaining.

Suuure! Less taxes means more money staying in the economy > more money leads to more spending > more spending leads to more work > more people working leads to more people paying taxes and more money being spent. Rinse and repeat. Raise taxes > less money > less spending > less people working > less people paying taxes > less revenue > higher taxes. rinse and repeat.
@Sappyspartan12 жыл бұрын
As much as I hate to say it, Romney did win this debate. He sounded stronger at least to the majority of the people watching them. However, when you get more specific, he sounded stronger only in the aspects of calling out Obama's policies and how they have 'failed'. He did NOT, as most think, sound stronger when it came to what HE would do as president. It's simple to just lay down numbers and say "hey, you didn't do this, but if i'm President, I'll TRIPLE job growth" or something
@Kasparovwannabe12 жыл бұрын
Cont. If you are not concerned with the creation of jobs or the deficit and are only concerned about the impact on the large business owners then your analogy is accurate. However, if you support plans that look beyond this sense of "fairness" and look to try to improve the country as a whole I think you will notice that your analogy is grossly oversimplified.
