I feel for Johan Els. (18:45) It must feel isolating to be alone and not be able to share the experience and relate it to your own wife, and he lets it show how much it tears him up. I hope he gets to bring her someday.

I have been waiting so long for this. To see how they edited this thing together is so sad. They left out the entire overhead contest, and setled for some kind of stupid dramatic footage. The producers of this show really don't understand who the audience consist of. So sad...

Interesting idea. I could see pudzianowski giving thor a run for his money. Lots of speed events where he was really strong and he was good at this type of deadlift. Not sure about his overhead abilities though. Besides that, for prime Brian or Eddie there was too much speed involved. Big Z would have won overhead but probably lost closely in the other events. From newer era Tom would be a contender, since he is sort of a thor 2.0

Why the hell do they keep putting in the 825lb frame carry as the first event like every fucking year? It's not necessarily the most exciting event, half the athletes get their hands ripped raw with 5 events remaining, why don't they do like ANYTHING else instead? It really seems like the past two or three years they've had this event first.
