There is a version of this that is SIX minutes long with the singer in front of a full of an orchestra, by far the best version of this image campaign that I have seen

"Makes no difference where I go, you're the best hometown I know..." Words that are so true. I've lived all over in big cities and little towns...but Nashville and the Channel 4 newsteam are the STANDARD. I watch the news now out of Paducah or Cape Girardeau but I can't relate to the news people or the reporters. Channel 4 spoiled me. Nashville spoiled me. You just don't know how blessed you are, Nashville.

Florence Warner is the singer. She sang on a ton of commercials... Pizza Hut, Starburst and Sprite and dozens more.

She did almost all the vocals for Frank Gari's "Hello News" music package, which was sold to stations in dozens of cities. But for some reason it really, really took off in Nashville with Channel 4, so much that they had her sing live vocals with the Nashville Symphony in a spot introduced by the late, beloved anchorman Dan Miller.

One exception: A station in Salt Lake City used Donny and Marie Osmond for their "Hello Utah" package.

@@robertcarter9383 That's great information! When we think of the all-time best promo/jingle singers, Florence Warner has to be right at the top.

Geez.... A promo for Nashville, and we see nothing but construction workers? Not one image of country music.
