I cannot speak for the ambassador as I don't have one, but the envoy is my favorite razor that I own. Pairing it with the Rex blades is a match made in heaven. Ambassador is definitely on the Christmas list. Beautiful shave brother...cant wait for the next one!

Good morning, John. You were on a roll today. I hope you enjoyed "The Notebook." I keep trying to like my Rex Ambassador. I love the quality of the design. But if I shaved on setting 6, I'd probably need stitches 😱 When it comes to elections in the US, it's always a relief when it's over....especially when the candidate I selected wins 😉 Cheers!

Nice shave there John. I really like the look of the rexi. Its pricey, but one i think would probably be worth it. And i like WSP soaps. I have the black amber vanilla by them. A great scent. But they have gotten pretty expensive, compared to other artisans. Enjoy your wknd. Im working. My sotd is my rockwell 6c with a kai blade. And tobs almond soap. And finished with geo f trumpers milk of flowers cologne. A wonderful scent. Take care you and the family 👍

I'd bet good money that the Rex Ambassador has caused more heartache than joy. For something so well built and engineered to perfection it really is the most blade forward aggressive little sucker on the market 🤣I both love it and hate it equally 🤣

Nice shave John! Sounds like a great soap scent! I looked it up, it's available at Maggards(4 left in stock) with the same lable as the one you have, and it's available at Razor Emporium with a newer lable that is black and has a guy shaving on it. Both places have it at $30 for the 7.4oz tub of cream. Maybe one of those places will have a better shipping price for you 🤔 My last SOTD: PAA Doppelganger Oxblood soap and splash, the TRC Cherry Royale synthetic brush, the Merkur Progress LH with a Personna Med-Prep blade, and some Nivea Sensitive Cooling Balm. Tried the Ambassador a few times and don't enjoy it. The Konsul is a different matter. Superb shave and I can make use of most of the settings 👍🏻
